My DIY Project

*Caution:  Some tooting of my own horn follows below.*

When Harrison was 1 year old we gave him a super cute little arm chair for Christmas.  He loved watching his favorite shows from his chair and subsequently, over the next 10 years, Rio, Jack and Nathan used it and loved it too.  Unfortunately, after 10 years anyone could see the wear and tear the chair endured.  It got scratched up by our cats, chewed on by a bad puppy, spilled on countless times and various other mishaps.  I decided to fix it up for Tyler to enjoy anew.  It was a big project (for me, it was my first reupholstering attempt) and I think it turned out pretty well.

Harrison enjoys his little arm chair.  Isn't he the cutest?

10 years later the chair doesn't look so cute.

Brand new again!!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!
What a perfect day!  We were early for church (amazing!), enjoyed the afternoon together and then had a fabulous dinner - ham, twice baked potatoes, jello eggs, glazed carrots, rolls and plenty of candy for dessert.  After dinner we played a fun game of Book of Mormon Who Said? and then we watched Finding Faith in Christ and shared our testimonies with each other.  My heart is full of love and gratitude on this Easter Sunday.  :)

All I Want For... Easter?

...Is my 2 front teeth!  Jack's such a cutie right now.  He really is our Jack-O-Lantern!

Christmas 2012

We've been good, Santa!

Wizard of Oz

Every year the Missoula Children's Theater comes to town for a week.  Tryouts for the play are held on Monday, rehearsals are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the performance on Friday evening.  I'm always amazed at what they can do in such a short time.  This year Rio was cast as a Winkee, Nathan was a Ferocious Flower and Harrison was the Great and Powerful OZ!  They all did a super great job!  I was the accompanist and had so much fun getting to be part of the production.

These Great Kids

Whose kids are these?   I am proud to say that they are mine!  :)  All of these sweet, handsome, beautiful, smart, funny kids belong to me and Micah and they make us so happy.  These pictures were taken at the I.F. Walmart portrait studio in August 2012.  I have a copy of the 1st one with them all together for all the grandparents.

Last night we had smoothies for our FHE treat and little Nathan spilled his on the table.  He was sad that his was all gone, but then, without Micah or I saying anything, each of Nate's brothers and sister poured some of their smoothie into his cup until his was full again.  My eyes got teary and my heart was full.  We are so blessed!
