Every October the church puts on a conference for all the LDS military chaplains and their spouses. We always have such a great time and I love having the support of the other spouses. Their advice and insight has been so valuable to me over these past 5 years and especially now that we're active duty. I feel so honered to get to rub shoulders with them and look forward to seeing them every year.
This is the group of chaplains that got their graduate degrees at BYU together (we're missing Chad who just got home from a 10 month deployment).
All the spouses.

While we were in Salt Lake we stopped by St. Mark's Hospital, where Mark spent 15 months training in hospital chaplaincy, to visit his old supervisor Nancy.
Ryan worked with Mark there and he and his wife Nicki are very cherished friends of ours. We just adore them and love that they're stationed semi-close to us at Camp Pendelton.
