The Sisks: Our Domestic Church

Every Friday we get together with our pre-school co-op for play time, story time and a short lesson that the moms rotate planning. Today we had our St. Valentines party complete with a play about St. Valentines life, decorating boxes and passing out Valentines! The kids had a great time!

The play was in our basement and a little hectic considering the echo down there, but the kids did a great job!
 

 

 

 

 

Fr. Gordon stopped by to say hello and gave us a blessing and a quick lesson on the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

Our group is about 21 kids ranging from 10years old -3 months.

They all really loved the stickers, glue, glitter and markers!

 

 

 

Happy Valentines Day! Love The Sisks

Sweet  Damian is 4 and loves puzzles and board games!

 

In August we had a wonderful month full of visitors! The Mach family came for a few days, Grandma Cathy came for almost a week, and Aunt Sara and Uncle Sean came in for a week and Grandma B and Grandpa JP stopped by on their way to Wisconsin! I realized afterwards that I stunk at taking pictures this month, so next time I won't make the same mistake!

When we were looking at houses we knew we wanted a large basement to set up for the kids! The winters are unknown still to us, but we are preparing for lots of inside play time. Soon after we moved in Kevin and Damian dubbed the basement the "Fun Zone" and it stuck!
