We made a trip to Vegas to see our new addition to the Spillers Family-- nephew Daniel. He is such a cute itty-bitty baby. It was so much fun holding a newborn again. While Grandma Susan and I were busy oooing and awwwing over the little one, Claire enjoyed the plethora of new toys she encountered. She was so cute in how she narrated all the things going on. She would say stuff like "We're going to see baby cousin Daniel," or "this is Aunt Marilyn's house." Such an articulate girl!

It was great trip, and both girls were angels on the way down. Only the last 20 miles home did we have some fussy tiredness appear in the car. So all in all, I would call it a success!
(of course, it helped that Grandma Susan was in the car too! )
