5 weeks in a hotel with 4 young boys...not a fun scenario. We do NOT miss hotel living at all. We were getting a little bit crazy there.
Definately don't miss hauling our laundry all around town.
Our closing happened to be extended another week so I was able at the very last second to fly out to my sweet cousin's funeral. Holly faithfully lived with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome for 37 years. She was the pioneer for the Fontan operation, which Matthew has received, and I believe the longest living person with the Fontan. Amazing woman and family! It was such a great experience to be there for her birthday celebration!!! I felt a great need to be there and was so grateful that it worked out. I always have in the back of my mind that we will be there some day...it is hard not to think about once in a while when you live with chronic illness as we do. What great examples I have to look on!

We do have a home now...and it does feel like home! We were stubborn and held out for what we wanted from the bank on this house instead of picking another of the MANY options out there. We are in the right place!
We are so blessed! We have about 1,500 more square feet here than our last house but somehow we are filled to capacity. I thought I got rid of all our junk, but no. How does the junk always find us? Time to perge again!
Much, much more happening...will post about later.
