Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

We love this time of year, and we are grateful for the birth of our Savior.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

Roxie looked so cute in her Christmas outfit for church, she even had red sparkly shoes! I don't think her eyes could go bigger..:)

Well I better just get the bad news over with...unfortunatly we won't be able to go home for Christmas this year. Having a baby aint cheap along with our recent car troubles and Brandon having to miss too much work, we just aren't going to be able to do it. We are really sad that we won't be able to see family and friends(or meet our friend's new babies!) :(. But now that we have a little family we can start some of our own traditions, and make the best of our Christmas here in Virginia. Luckily some of our great friends in our ward will be here also, so we'll be able to get together with them.

We had a fun weekend, we went with the Roane's to pick out and cut down a Christmas tree. It was freezing this weekend, so we had to bundle Roxie super warm. She looked like a little marshmellow. We went to the same tree farm as last year, for some reason we had a much easier time picking out the tree we wanted this year than we did last year.

Getting Roxie all bundled upCute pregnant(4 days overdue pregnant!) Jenny, was truckin around with the rest of us. What a trooper :)Awwww!! We found THE one.Roxie and me, we were freezing! Hurry up and cut it down Dad!Muscle man Brandon, ta-DA we have our Christmas tree.

Ok I know it's been way too long since I last posted. Whoops... We had a good Thanksgiving, with our friends here in Virginia, then Friday we headed down to Charlotte to visit some other friends. We had a great time with them too. It was a long drive and we ended up having some car trouble on the way home, so it made it even longer. Needless to say it was nice to get into bed last night at about 2 am.

Roxie is getting really good at getting her thumb in her mouth...something I really don't want her to do. But she doesn't do it that often, so I guess it's ok for now. Our friends let us borrow their bumbo chair and she likes to sit in it...for about 2 minutes.:)

Roxie did her first laugh about a month ago, but Brandon missed it and we hadn't been able to get her to do it until now...and we got it on video. So funny

She's getting so big and I can't believe this week she'll be 4 months old. What a little stinker.:)

3 MONTHS OLD

Roxie had her '2 month' Check up on Wednesday. We got new insurance so it took a little while. Anyway she did really well getting her shots and I didn't even cry :) ....I was positive I would. She was a brave little soldier. She wasn't feeling too good that night though, she had the sadest little cry and whimpered the whole time I fed her, poor thing.

But the next day she was all better.

She weighed 11 lbs.

and was 23 3/4 in. long

We can't believe how big she's getting, and she finally has some rolls on her chicken legs. What a cutie.

This is the second time that Brandon & I have been a cowboy and indian, but we didn't come up with something else in time so we just went with it again. I think Roxie is the cutest little witch I've ever seen!

We had such a good time with our friends, we had yummy food and played fun games. This was the best game, the donut eating contest. We(the girls) were laughing so hard that we had a tough time choking down the donuts. The boys on the other hand didn't have a problem at all.
