Austin-tayshus!

We have kept this secret better than any!We thought it would be fun to announce our pregnancy with a gender announcement as well so I went to my 5 month appointment and we found out it was a girl!! We held off on telling EVERYONE except for my neighbor and another friend (who helped with the kids while I was S-I-C-K!!) It's no myth, I was never this sick with my boys! We announced the weekend before Thanksgiving and we could not be happier! After having 2 boys we tried every method known to man pointing to the result of a female baby...IT WORKED! I thought I was excited, BOY, you should have seen Jon! He gets to have his little princess now. I got teary when I bought her 1st set of Pajamas. Its REALLY a girl!

Let's see, since the last time you heard from us we have...


1) Bought a house in June, YAY! I LOVE it so much. I have to admit it has taken me too long to get started on projects in here but I think I'm on a roll and I can't stop trying to make it pretty~must be the upcoming holidays!! I get to host Thanksgiving this year in my very own house, in my very own way....and with my Very own traditions..I can't wait!! I wish we would have taken before and after pictures of the house before we had the wood floors put in and got it painted, It looks 100% better than it did..maybe we will have to post some pics soon since Ash won't quit hounding me! The Boys are loving all the space they have to run freely.. It's been months since we moved in and Ethan Still asks if we are going to " Ethan's new house?" We live Just down the street from Chris and Sarah (well, 5 min down the street) And they should be so flattered that we would follow them a second time..we must love them a lot.

2)Jon Got a new Jobby -Job. He is still running the business and has some great things in the works with the engraver, he still has a steady stream of business on the side but He is now working for Huawei it's a Chinese company. They are a cell phone manufacturer ....blah blah blah.. I will let him tell you all about it, all I know is that it's techy stuff, he loves messing with phones and he likes programming them so he couldn"t be happier. I just love knowing we get holidays back since those were the
busiest times at the mall. We love having daddy home all the time!!

3)Our new ward is awesome, we really love it! I am blessed to work in the nursery with the 2-3 yr olds, I LOVE teaching those tiny people. They are like little sponges, they are so little but I'm truly amazed at how much they really "get it." Jon just got called into Young Men, It must be because he is SO cool! Or maybe its because his Young Men leader from back in the day happens to be the young Men Pres in the ward ;)
Austin is in Sunbeams with Miss Madi, and Ethan and Jax are in nursery together.

among other things here is a list of other things we have been up to...
Ethan turned 2! Cristina Turned 31! Went to Great Wolf Lodge for our summer vacation this year, Kids still talk about it! I got to go to Girls camp this year, I was the Lewisville Stake camp craft leader and loved it! Thank Heavens for the YW program just in case I never have a girl, I will have plenty to love at church!! Austin is in Preschool again this year and he "knows everything, because the holy ghost teached it to him in heaven." Of course, he still graces his preschool class with his presence for the social aspect, I guess.
Went camping In Broken Bow with the Forbush Fam (my boys BOTH touched live worms!) I got a new niece, Bridgette Marie (Fabe and Angie's) and a new Nephew, Colten Christopher (Chris and Sarah's)...And Josh and Ash's boy will come soon enough! these cute little babies are leaving us no choice!! Went to the Pumkin Patch with the Forbushes, We are lucky to have moved to a street where there is a family from our ward who we have become friends with! Their kids are about the same ages as ours, its nice to finally live by people with kids!

We have so much going on that I hate to lose momentum and blog. stay tuned to hear about the Wonderful new house and business venture. Exciting stuff going on in these parts!

so, I was getting my kiddos ready to go to my parents last night for fhe, when through Austins adorable smile I spy a stack of 4 pennies. I calmly ask him to spit them out into my hand and as he does so, he coughs and says, the penny is "locked" mom, meaning locked in his throat and stuck. I then proceed to drag him to the bathroom where I am gagging him with his toothbrush, to no avail....then my trip is delayed for another hour while I (before calling poison control, the Dr., or even my mom) googled "my 4 yr old swallowed a penny." Well, needless to say I have been waiting for the 6 dreaded words, " mom, I Need to go poopie." so, instead of reading books or singing songs, I spent some time in the bathroom tonight wearing some rubber gloves going through you know what!!! ...to no avail. I'm considering giving the boy a laxative. i'm giving it one more "potty" until we go to the hospital.

Ok, I will admit, it's freakin' adorable. He just had to do it on the day that I feel like crap, just totally sick. I just got done giving them a bath and ethan was done so I got him out, dressed and ready for bed then the next thing i know....where did Ethan go?? Back in the tub! Grrr.
