Recently Dave and Jillian had a special Daddy/Daughter time together when the Day School hosted "Dad's Night". Jillian was really excited because she had made some special things at school just for the night! All the kids had made a DAD! The Dad's were all displayed-- Dave said that it was really funny because--All the Dad's except Jillian's Dad were smiling! Jillian's Dad had a big scowl on it's face! Jillian also answered a funny survey about her Dad.
She gave the following answers...
My Dad's name is...David.
He is ....6...years old.
His favorite food is....hamburgers.
His favorite drink is...water.
My favorite thing to do with Dad is... go to church.
My Dad's favorite TV show is... Police shows.
His favorite sport is... Football.
He works... Police officer.
Dave enjoyed singing "Jesus Loves Me" and "Where is Dolphin?" (sung to Where is thumbkin?" They decorated a picture frame together for an art project! Dave was given a painted footprint of Jillian's with a poem that reads...
"Walk a little slower, Daddy,
Said a little child so small.
I'm following in your footsteps,
And I don't want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up,

They had a great
Dad's night! Both Daddy and Jillian were smiling ear to ear when they came home!
