The Big Head



Here in Phoenix we are all familiar with "The Big Unit"....aka Randy Johnson, a star pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Today out at a spring training game we started wondering if Joshua's nickname when he becomes a star pitcher will be "The Big Head". This kid has had a huge head right from the start (we often quote lines from "So I Married and Axe Murderer")- and today we bought him a Padres spring training hat- of which the Adult size fit him. Hopefully he'll grow into this head by the time he's 20 :)!!!!!

Puppy Love


Welcome to Max- the newest addition to the waters gang. He's half Lab and half Blue Heeler, and about 10 weeks old. Our neighbors adopted one of his litter mates from a local rescue and when we saw that puppy we just knew we had to have one of our own (David's childhood dog was a Heeler). David picked the name Max, aka Mad Max,) from the Mel Gibson movies back in the day (since Heelers are Australian dogs). Joshua is a huge fan, being much more excited about this whole thing than we would have thought!
