Weathers Family

I can't call you and tell you how much I miss you. Somehow I guess in writing this here I feel that at least it will not go unsaid. You will not go unnoticed or be forgotten. I miss you Mom. I miss talking to you almost everyday. I miss telling you about the kids and how they are doing and laughing about their crazy antics. What they are up to, what new things they are saying and doing. How they are doing in school. I wish that you had been able to meet your granddaughter. Maybe you met her before she came here to earth, I like to think so. She is beautiful and so full of life like you. Somehow her presence makes me feel closer to you. I wish that I had come to visit more. Spending more time just me and you. Making more memories to hold onto. I pray the memories I have do not fade. I think about you and talk about you often. Telling the kids about you and keeping their memory alive of you too.

I have faith that you are in a better place but the selfish part of me wishes you were still here. People say that "time" will heal all wounds. It's been two years ago today that I lost you. It still hurts so much. More than sometimes I can even explain to others. There is an empty hole in my heart. But, I know where you are and I know that someday we will see each other again. I know that this time we are apart now is not forever. I love you Mom. God bless you and keep you safe!

It's so hard to believe that Sophia is 4 months old already. She is such a happy little girl!!!!! Loves to play, have tummy time, is rolling over, smiling, laughing, and jabbering a lot. She adores her older brothers and has her mommy and daddy wrapped around her little finger. Her smile just lights up the whole room and she even smiles with her eyes. We love you little princess!!!!

Ahhhhh.....this is the life!!!!!!

We had a fun time decorating the kids' tree this year. Each year we give them an ornament to add to their collection. We try to make it reflect what they were most interested in during the year. It's a fun tradition we have been doing since Alex was a baby. It was fun to see how excited the boys were when they saw all the past ornaments they had made or received as gifts. It's my favorite part of decorating for Christmas!!!!

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Bryan's family this year. There were 30+ adults and 8 small kids 7 and under. We had a great time and Lindy made a fabulous dinner.

We are soooo behind in our blog posts! Here is a quick catch-up of some things happening in the Weathers' household lately.

It's so hard to believe that little Sophia is already over 12 weeks old! She is doing so well and growing sooooo big! She was in the 97th percentile for height and weight at her 3 month well child exam. WOW! She is giggling, smiling and jabbering tons! My favorite is in the morning when I go in to get her and when I peek over the crib she just smiles so big. Such a happy little girl! She rolled over 4 times in a row and loves to have tummy time. Her favorite right now is patty cake. She giggles and smiles every time. We love her so very much and feel so blessed to have her in our family. We are so grateful for her and her birth mother. We are truly blessed!
