Merry Christmas

One year ago today, I was packing to move out of our home. Yes, it was Christmas Day. We had had a normal, fun Christmas for most of the day. But then I left the kids at Grandma's and snuck back home to undecorate all the Christmas decorations and pack up the rest of the house. Wow- I can't believe it's already been a year.

This year, I was able to spend Christmas in our new home with my family and truly enjoy the day. We stayed home ALL day. Grandma and Grandpa Webb came to our house later in the morning. The kids were all thrilled with what they gave and received. I stayed in my PJ's until about 5:00 pm- nice!

Opening up new pajamas for Christmas Eve

Justin's mile-wide smile with his new helicopter!
As if we didn't have ENOUGH light sabers already!

Audrey and Dallin got new Razor Powerwings. They are super fun!!

Yummy Christmas dinner!

And yes, Santa brought us a new computer- hooray! Maybe now I can update the blog more than once every few months. I said maybe.

Grandma and Grandpa Webb gave us money this year to buy presents for ourselves and we actually bought our first video game console. Shocker, I know. It's an XBox 360 Kinect and it is quite hilarious to watch the kids play. Your body is it's own controller, so you HAVE to get up off the couch and jump around to play.

(Note: I've spent hours now trying to upload a 56 second video clip that shows the kids playing the Kinect, without any success. You'll have to take my word for it- it's so fun!)

All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas Day. We miss our Grandma and Pooh-Pa Blunck as they are serving their mission in Armenia but we found out they will be coming home May 20th, so we will be able to spend next Christmas with them.

So Merry Christmas everyone. I'm going to go lay on the couch and watch Despicable Me with the family, and I won't feel lazy at all!

Where are those Webb's??

I know that my background and postings should reflect more of the Christmas season that it is now. However. Our lovely computer decided to totally die several weeks ago. Dead. Cannot be revived, even according to the experts. So I am currently surviving off of Adam's work laptop in the evenings, which causes several problems, the least of which is updating my blog.

And we must have some sort of curse with computers, because Adam's laptop is now acting funny and is SLOOOOOWERRRR than tar. Think back to those lovely "dial-up internet" days. Yeah, not so fun. And not very conducive to updating blogs.

I REALLY want to show our new family pictures that we just had taken by the fabulous Robyn Lamoreaux. But since I can't, you can go see some of them here.

So Merry Christmas everyone. I hope I'm on Santa's good list this year and get a new computer, and no, it probably won't be a Mac. Santa can't justify spending that much this time of year.
