My baby girl is TWO.

It is Reese's 2nd birthday.
I think I am a little sad.

But I love this age.

She is so independent.
Every morning she wakes up and comes in our room and asks for my iphone so she can play games and look at pictures. It gives me a little more time to sleep since she is such an early riser.

Then she takes off her jammies and heads to her room to dress herself.
And WILL NOT let me help.
Even if we are in a hurry to leave.
The other morning she took off her pj's and said "durdy. clean em dad. me get dressed." then she ran in her room and picked out her clothes.
She isn't as good as Bentley with the color coordination but she get's them on.
Shirt, pants, and all.
Sometimes it takes her a while to get the shirt figured out and at times I am not so patient. I will step in and try to help and then she screams, "ME DO IT!!"

Oh I love her!

She has so much life in her.

Got this beauty on by herself.

Out sledding with Dad and Sister.
She loves making funny faces. I don't know where she first learned this but she loves getting my attention and then making a silly face!

Not very flattering of me I know but I love this one because of her!
She loves food!
We were enjoying an In-n-out burger.

Good at making crusty faces.

Having a binky fix with her little cousin Hollin.

Reese we love you so very very much!
In fact, I can't get enough of you.
Kisses.

dancing and dancing.

I just signed the girls up for dance.

Bentley was great the first time. She danced her little heart out and followed the teacher.

Reese, not so much. She kept running to me and sitting on my lap.
She is my fearful one.
Hates nursery.
Hates dance class.
HATES, I mean hates Chucky Cheese (the guy in the costume, not the place).
Hopefully she can overcome her fears one day.
But for now we are working on Dance.

Let's just hope she likes the characters at Disney Land in a few months!
Crossing my fingers.

This soon to be four year old loves her tap shoes!
...

On another note...
I went dancing at a club the other night.

Gay night.

I went with my friend's Jaynann and Brenna to a birthday party.
The dancing was a blast! Jay and Brenna were dancin machines!
I think the last time I went to a club I was...I don't know...20.
Anyways, it was such a fun girls night.

I don't think she stopped dancing even for one second the whole night.
I loved it.

Jay, Brenna and me.

Jo's 30th Birthday

I threw a surprise birthday party for my sis Jo.
We took her to Fat Cats, there waiting was friends and family.
We ate pizza and cupcakes and bowled!

Bentley and Reese LOVED bowling. I think Bentley thought she was really cool wearing those shoes.
Love her.

Jo happy 30th. We LOVE you!

Reesey feeding Papa cupcake.

Catching up (for me).

Christmas this year was spent at Mel and Chris's. The whole Weeks clan slept over and celebrated all the festivities together.
It started with a fab.u.lous Christmas Eve dinner and exchanging of the home made (family tradition) kids gifts.
Then morning madness. Although we do take turns opening presents.
Then a little skiing for Jeff and Dave and a movie for the rest of us.
Then back to Mel's for a nice dinner.
All in all it was another great Christmas!

Reese got a fish "rudolph". Bent named him.

The girls had the best time having a big sleep over with cousins and opening all their new toys! Who wouldn't?

my blog saved my life.

Thanksgiving in Newport Beach.
We had the best time hanging out with Jeff's family at Nicole's beach house.
My kids did not want to leave. The Willardson clan are too good to us!

Me and my baby!

Bentley loving her easy-going beach life.
...

I have taken a long break from my blog, I am feeling the itch to catch up. The only problem is our Mac crashed and took all of our pictures with it! ahhhhhhh!
I can't tell you how much I regret not backing up our pictures some how. What slackers we are!
All of our memories erased.

The only good news is that I have a blog.
I am so happy I decided to start this website up soon after Bentley was born. Documenting our lives with our two fabulous kids on my family blog has been a life saver now that I have no pictures left.
So I can't wait to catch up and continue on with publishing my pictures and stories of our life so that one day, when I get around to it, I will get it printed into a book.

Thank goodness for blogs!

Bentley's new found Love

Jeff took Bentley up skiing where I learned at her age, Chickadee at Snowbird.
I couldn't make it up there to watch. Jeff and Parker had a blast watching her in all her glory ski down the hill. With edgy-wedgies on of course!
She asked them as they left if they could do again tomorrow!
Jeff is in heaven!

Thanksgiving Vacay.

Like last year, we spent Thanksgiving in California. Mostly at Jeff's sister's beach house in Newport.
My camera was not working so I only got a few pic's on my phone.
We had the best time. Relaxing at the beach in 80 degree weather was just what we needed. Who wouldn't need that?
The girls were in their glory with their aunts and Nana spoiling them rotten.
They are so good to us!!

LOVED the beach.

I had to throw this one in. My brother Matt is a huge fan of Dog.
We stopped in Vegas and took the girls to the Aquarium in Mandalay Bay.
Dog was there with his whole family. I noticed Beth first, she is a lot smaller in real life.
Jeff was dying when I asked him for a picture. But I just HAD to.

And lastly... Reese showing her new trick. She thinks she is cool beans with this one!

Early Birthday.

Since I knew I would be working on my salon the week of my birthday, we celebrated early. So a few weeks ago Jeff booked us a night in this new hotel up in Park City called Dakota Lodge. It was a beautiful hotel, I didn't want to leave. Kacey and Jake came up and hung out with us for a few hours, I love those two newly weds!!
Thanks babe, it was a much needed night away!

Just having some tea in the never been used kitchen in our room.
Yum.
We even baked some cookies for our guests!

Thanks everyone for the Birthday well wishes yesterday! I had a great day!

Presenting... Salon Shag

Reception area.
I LOVE Marlyn in the salon. She looks awesome!

After having the chandeliers lost in space for what seemed like forever, they finally arrived. I could not be happier with the way they look in here.

These shampoo bowls are amazing!! One of the main things I wanted in my salon was comfortable shampoo bowls and I got them.
They don't put the pressure on your neck, which is why they are so great.

We will be having a Grand Opening in a few weeks.
I will post more details when I have them worked out.
So to all of our friends and family... you better all come to it and support or else...
ha ha... That sounded like Jeff didn't it?

The BUGS.

Bentley the Bee

Bent, Alex the Butterfly and Reese the Ladybug.

We spent Halloween over at my sisters.
With warm soup in our bellies we headed out to get some goods.
Mel made me put on this costume. I'll admit I was kind of a poop this year. I didn't really care about dressing up until Mel pulled this sweet Geisha costume out for me.

Everyone thought I was Mel.
I guess with wigs and red lipstick we look the same.
I think it is the round faces and cheeks.

This reminds me that I could never go dark.
Dark hair does not look good on me!!

This is Jeff every night around 8:30.
What a party pooper.

The Last Few Weeks.

Reese being silly.

The last few weeks have been quite stressful. I knew opening up my own salon would be hard work, and I was ready for a challenge... but I wasn't expecting it to be this stressful. It will all be worth it when it is up and running without any "kinks", as I call them. Everyone is telling me to relax and not sweat the small stuff, but to me nothing is a small matter. I want everything to be perfect!
So to everyone I have ignored or forgotten the last few weeks I apologize.
I AM super excited about the way it is looking. It might take a few months to fill some empty spaces but it looks amazing. I can't wait for all of you to come and see it.

What I wanted to say in this post though is how much I love my girls. They have had a little bit of a hard time seeing me go to work instead of watching me do hair in the kitchen.
But they are troopers and I love them to pieces! I also have to say thanks to my mom this week for watching my girls while my awesome nanny recovers from the SWINE FLU... eek.

Bentley and I waiting for her teacher to come get her out the car for school.
She LOVES LOVES school.

Little fashionista.

Happy Halloween!!

Who wins?
My nice Elmo Pumpkin.

Bentley and Luke.

Jeff so proud of his pumpkin.
He get's really serious about his pumpkin carving.
Every year he tries to do better than the year before and impress everyone with his skills...

Jeff's Scary Chucky.
What do you think?

I think I like last years Tiger Woods better.

Daybreak Tri

Me and my sisters had big plans to do the Daybreak Tri together.
Training time came and went... (I had too many excuses not to train)
Mel was the only one that kept her word and did it.
But we were there to cheer her on.
Good job Melly bell!!

Jeff was happy to sit this out knowing a head of time that they would not be swimming in lake but a pool instead... ringworm. Ew.
Anyhow, Jeff likes doing the swim in lakes, that's the fun of doing a triathlon anyway, right?
What a tri snob.

Jo and I waiting at the finish line.
