Mormon Night

I We went to the Padre Game for "Mormon Night"  Of course it was the nose bleed section, but it was fun, non the less. We of course had to go over to the fastest pitcher in the west and take our turn on that.  Clint topped out at 80 and I hit 50.  I was pretty happy with that.  We went with Clints sister jill and her family, Brad and JC and Clints dad and some of jills friends and their family.  There is nothing better than peanuts at a ball game and the good ol' american baseball game.

Last Day of 1st and 4th plus Talent Show

It is so hard for me to believe that these kiddos are done with 1st and 4th grade.  Where did the year go.  It flew by.  This next year I will have all 3 in school and I am not really sure I am ready for that.  Curran LOVES school and was so sad for it to end.  He loves to learn, loved his teacher, loves his friends.  Callie loves to be social.  She loved all her teachers, she made some new friends and made A LOT of improvement in school this year.  It will be fun to see where this next year will take us.

Also on the second to last day of school Callie performed in the talent show at school.  Her and her cute friends Juliet and Charlotte did a song called "Raining Tacos"  They worked so hard on it.  Juliet's mom helped them make up the routine.  I made their matching shirts and did their hair.  They did an amazing job and I am so proud of them.

Girls Camp 2016

I had the opportunity this past week to go up to girls camp.  I was only able to go up for one day.  But is was such a great day.  It made me realize how much I love these girls and how much these girls look up to me as a leader and need us for direction and comfort in their lives.  These teenagers deal with some hard things in life and they need guidance and reassurance.  Katie and I drove up together.  She is someone I really admire and really look up to.  When we got there we walked over to the bathrooms and ran into a few of our girls and when they saw us one of them broke down and started crying she was so happy we were there.  Another one of the girls had been asking other leaders when we were going to be there and couldn't wait for us to get up there and when she saw us RAN to hug us.
The night was a pretty emotinal night.  One of the girls was moving away the day after camp.  The spirit was strong and I am so grateful to these girls in sharing their testimonies.  They need each other.  They need to Gospel in their lives!  I am so grateful I get to serve with these amazing girls.

Legoland July 2016

My sweet neighbor gave us free tickets to legoland that they weren't going to use! We were so excited and grateful she would do that! Well since we don't go any more we decided to make an entire day of it! It was a blast! We ended up going into the hotel after just to check it out! The elevators are like a dance party inside once the doors close! Each floor is a different theme! It was pretty darn cool!
So glad we had the chance to spend the entire day there
