Curran turns 3

Curran had his 3rd Birthday this past Saturday.
We had friends and family over on Sunday for Cake and Ice Cream.
He gotToy Story's Buzz Lightyear, and thought it was the coolest present ever.
Curran is a tenacious little boy. He loves to play with his toys, but I think his favorite thing to do is stash his toys anywhere he can possibly find.
In fact last week I found toys in the Conrad's pajama drawer.
He can be a little stink sometimes too. He is totally one of those kids who will when a grown up is not looking start poking the kid next too him and then deny that he did it.
He can be such a sweet little boy too. The other night Conrad was crying in his bed and he told Clint and I that he was going to go up and take care of him so we let him go up there and we could hear him through the baby monitor saying in his sweet little voice. "It's ok little brother, I here" and gave him his bink.
We love our Cur-Dog and life would not be the same without him.

Welcome December

We ventured to Temple Square Saturday night with Clint's sister and her family and his parents. We were celebrating our Niece Karlee's Baptism. I haven't been up to see the lights since before Clint and I were married. We had a great time going despite the cold and the crowds.

Callie and Karlee

We also made snowman pancakes, which the kids loved and I used M&M's for the eyes and buttons.
Last but not least, we. cut. Curran's. hair. I know, never thought it would happen but it did. To be honest I love it! He looks like a totally different little boy.
I still can't believe it's December already. So stay tuned we will have more posts with birthday's, weddings, trips, and Christmas.

Conrad 5 Months

This little Chub-a-Wub is about 20 lbs. At 5 months, I know that is a ton. And trust me, my arms feel it.
He is a happy baby if he is being held, and he just started sitting up the last few days.
He still loves his bink, and to be swaddled. He loves Callie and Curran and has just taken a new interest in toys.
This little monkey does NOT sleep through the night yet and is about to drive Mommy nuts. But when he smiles at me every day it makes every thing all better.
Love you little buddy!!!

Thankful Turkey

For the Month of November we created our own Thankful Turkey. The kids had so much fun coming up with some of the things they were thankful for. Just to name a few; Curran said he was Thankful for the couches, his shoes and socks and toys. Callie said she was thankful for her leapster, cousins, and candy. I love when kids come up with things all on their own. Because there are so many times they come up with the funniest things.

This is Halloween, This is Halloween!!!! Trick or Treat

Curran : Woody
Conrad: Pirate
Callie: Princess...and I am such a terrible Mom I did not get one Picture of her in her costume. We were in such a hurry to get her to school I didn't get one of her then and so I said I would get one just before she went trick or treating and we got home from picking Clint up from work and she left as soon as we got home. So I win the bad parent of the year award.
Anyway, the kids had so much fun on Halloween and CANNOT wait for next year.

4 Months

Conrad is such a pleasant little boy! I just love him soooo much.
We are doing Baby boot camp this week and making him cry it out at night to get him sleeping through the night and sleeping in his crib during the day and not his swing. Let's just say, it's kicking my butt, and as I sit here he is crying because I am not holding him because he is soooo tired from not sleeping.
We also had his Baby Blessing on the 16th of October. Clint did such an amazing job and it was so great to have all the support from family and friends.

3 Months

(This is a picture of Conrad and Trey. They are just one day apart and are going to be best buds)

He loves:
his bink
his hands
his mommy
his daddy
his sister
his brother
his swing
his baths
his swaddle time
his sleep time
his food
I seriously cannot get enough of this little boy. I could just sit and hold him all day long especially when he smiles at me from ear to ear. I love him more than words could ever explain.

20 Mile Relay

20 Mile Stake Relay

Before

After

Lisa Krista Tiff Me

Ladies from my ward who ran the relay too

We all finished together STRONG

I have my music getting ready to run my first leg.

I ran a 20 mile Relay an Saturday with 3 good friends from my ward. It was a BLAST! I would serioulsy do it again today. We each ran two legs, and we ran it in just under three hours. I thought that was pretty good considering that two of us have 3 month old babies and one has a four month old baby.

We decided it would be fun to go buy matching shirts and socks and considering it was close to Halloween why not buy a Halloween shirt.

As much as I hate to run I hate to admit it, but I can see how it can become addicting.

I had two..oh wait three pretty embarrasing things happen this day and I hope the girls on my team don't think any less of me as a person. Hahahahahah!

But if you noticed I started in black pants and ended in gray...And in the last picture did you notice, I have a sweatshirt wrapped around my waste.

Ya pretty embarassing!
Thanks Ladies for a very Memorable day! Let's do it again.

Our Little Goof Ball

Curran is the biggest Goof Ball ever! He always has us laughing.
Like last night he was telling
Clint he couldn't close his eyes because he was too little,
or the other day he was telling the Dr.
that his name was not Sir, it was buddy!
He is a Daddy's boy and loves to play "Angry Birds" or "Bubbles"
with Daddy on his phone.
He LOVES to put things on his head. Especially his Dad's hat
or anything that is a bucket or basket.

Just a week ago we started Potty Training Curran. We have been talking to him for about a month now about if and when he decides to be potty trained and starts going "pee pee" on the potty than we would get him a Toy Story's Woody Doll. So last week Clint went and bought him one and put it in his closet so he could look at it to be motivated to start going potty on the toilet.
He did AMAZING! We started the first two days with him peeing on cheerios, and a potty chart for 4 days and Starburst were a great motivator. After those four days he was good to just go in and go.
Well as of today, a week later we just have to tell him to go in and go potty and he climbs up all by himself (backwards of course) and goes potty! We are so proud of him and he did get his Woody Doll today and he has not put it down since.

Baby Conrad 2 Months

Conrad is a little chunk! He had his 2 month appointment the other day and his weight was in the 89% and his height was in the 64% and his head was in the 28%. We have a little marshmallow with a tiny little head.
He is a pretty good baby! He still LOVES his bink and to be swaddled! He loves his tummy as well and has rolled over a few times! He prefers to sleep on his tummy, but it makes me too nervous to put him on his tummy to sleep.
He has started smiling ALL the time! I think of all my kids he is the most smiley and I LOVE it!
He loves to watch Callie and Curran and they can't get enough of him, especially Callie. I love this little man so much and I could never imagine life without him.

Callie's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Callie's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Callie was SOOOOO excited to start Kindergarten. She has been talking about it for months now and every time we pass the school she always says "there's Kindergarten."

She had her school assessment this past Friday and I am still laughing about what she was telling her teacher.
Let me just try and replay this for you;
Mrs. Brun; Callie will you repeat this sentence after me. "I have a black dog"
Callie; (with a confused look on her face) I don't have a black dog.
Mrs. Brun, hahahha, Callie Sweetheart, this is just for pretend
Callie: Oh just pretend, then ok, "I have a black dog"
Mrs. Brun: I am excited because tomorrow is my birthday!.
Callie: but tomorrow is not my birthday!
Mrs. Brun: hahahhah this is just pretend again
Callie: oh ok, well, I am excited because tomorrow is my birthday.
Next she had Callie doing some simple math. She asked her, now Callie if you had 5 and I took away 1, how many would you have?, Callie looks at her and says, I don't know a lot...She then says what if you had 5 M&M's and your brother took on of those M&M's how many would you have and she looks at her again and says he wouldn't take mine because he would have his own.
Callie is so funny! I think she will have a great time this year at school.
Callie's good Friend Aubrey is in her class, so I am sure they will have lot's of fun together.
I think I am still in shock that I have a child old enough to be in school. But it makes me very happy that I do. We just love Callie! She is always keeping us on our toes and says some pretty funny things!
