Christmas and Such

I think this is the first chance I have gotten to sit down and blog. We had a great Christmas trip to MS. It was so good to be at home with family for a few days but then always good to come back to our home. Chris was off for 2 weeks and we truly enjoyed the time we had with him before he gets busy again, which would be now as he is locked in the office working on graduate work. YUCK.

Hannah is back in preschool and Lucy is still staying home with me.  Hannah has several activities at church that she is involved with: choir, discipleland and Awana. She is really good at learning her verses and has learned 10 so far.

Chris and I are starting Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) this semester. I had thought about starting in Rapid City but then the move happened and then we were busy settling back into Abilene. We both had our first meetings last week and we are excited about getting into our small groups this coming week. Chris attends on Monday nights and I will go on Wednesday mornings. They also provide preschool classes that teaches the kids the same things that the adults are learning. Hannah is very excited about going to Bible Study. We will all be studying through the  book of Acts.
We had an incident last week, Hannah gave Lucy a hair cut. I cried it was so bad. I am sure and know from other's stories that it could be worse but I was sad for my baby to lose some of her hair.
We are excited about the new year and looking for opportunities to grow and serve within our church and community.

Here are pictures from mid-December-present:
We had to have the Mosers over for Christmas dinner before we left for MS. It was a fun night.

It appears that I only took a handful of pictures while we were in MS. Here is one of the girls. Can't wait for #4 to be here soon!

Hannah had London spend the night after we got back and we tried out the ice cream maker from Uncle Rob and Aunt Stacie. We were not sure how the sleepover would go but the girls did great.

Hannah and Lucy spent New Year's Eve with the Mosers and these were the party glasses. Oh my!

THE HAIRCUT: after professional assistance....so sad

And finally...Mallory invited me and Lucy to Mrs. Mo's teacher tribute. Our news station, radio station and Arrow Ford honor extraordinary teachers throughout the year and last week, Mrs. Mo was honored. She has been teaching for many years and has touched 100's of children's lives. 3 students wrote in letters nominating her and she was very surprised by the honor.
