Our second daughter Avery Grace was born August 29! We found out at 34 weeks pregnant that she has Tetralogy of Fallot which is a congenital heart defect. She will have open heart surgery at Children's Hospital in Boston around 3 months old. We have had some dark days these last few weeks. God is so good and has carried us through the incredibly hard time. We are blessed beyond words and grateful for every second with these two beautiful girls!! I will try to keep my blog updated as we walk through this time before and after the surgery. Here are some pics of our second little princess during these last two weeks. She's a doll! She's doing great and under the care of a wonderful pediatric cardiologist. More to come!

AK had her first dance recital! It was so much work for the little girls, mommys and especially the daddys (aka Elvis). It was definitely worth it though!! We had a blast and I could not be prouder of our little dancer. She had a great time staying up till almost midnight 2 nights in a row!! She rocked out on stage and I loved every second of it. I was very proud of Elvis (aka Daddy). His performance was fabulous!!

My sister Jill got married last weekend! It was a wonderful weekend filled to the brim with festivities. Jill looked happier than I have every seen her and we are proud to have a new brother-in-law Andy! I have to post more pics later. Here are a few from a beautiful day!! (AK was a wonderful flower girl too)

Just wanted to let people know that we lost one of the twins. The other seems to be ok. My doctor is monitoring the baby closely. Please keep us in your prayers.

Well............big news!! We are expecting twins! I haven't kept up with this blog in so long I don't know if anyone even looks at it haha. We found out that Anna Kate is going to be a proud big sister of not one but two siblings in August!!! It's been a long road and we truely feel God has blessed us with a double scoop! I'll try to keep up with my blog better. So far the pregnancy is fine. I've been seeing a specialist and they just released me to my regular OB last week. I'm already showing which is totally freaking me out! Oh well bring it on!! Here are some cute pics of my one precious miracle over the holiday season...enjoy!

Joe and I went on a trip to the Dominican Republic with some of our good friends. We had a wonderful time but missed our little girl!! AK started PreK 3 and dancing recently so here are some fun pics from her too!
