6 months and a visit from Grandmamma and Memmie

Well I can't believe AK is 6 months! She is doing great and we are enjoying every second of it. She sat up on her 6 month birthday. She also started mother's day out once a week and went to sunday school for the first time. I'd say that was a big week for such a little girl. At her 6 mo. check up she weighed in at 12 lbs 15 oz. (5th percentile!) She is a sweet little angel!

This past weekend Anna Kates's Grandmamma and Memmie came to see us. We had lots of fun laughing and playing with Miss Personality AK. She gave quite a performance to her grands. We had a great time and can't wait to see them again.

LSU National Champions

I forgot to put pics of Ak in her LSU attire! Geaux Tigers! AK's mim bought her this purple and gold moose on the trip. We named it Ricky. Anyone who watched the game will know why!

Park City 2008

Joe, AK, Mom, Dad, Jill and myself just made it back from Park City, UT. We love going there and try to go once a year (if possible). Jason and Sarah were unable to go this year (missed ya'll!). AK had plenty of firsts on this 8 day trip. Her first time on a plane, her first time seeing snow, and her first time being really sick! AK had an ear infection around christmas time. We had completed the round of antibiotics the day before we left for the trip. 2 days into the trip I woke up in the middle of the night to find AK burning up! We took her temp and realized she was sick. I called my pediatrician back home the next day and she told me I had to see someone up in Utah. We saw the pediatrician that day and started another round of antibiotics. Poor baby! She is feeling much better now.
On another note, we watched the LSU championship game while in Utah! It was so much fun and such a good game. We had to be quiet b/c AK was sleeping. That was hard to do but really funny.
We had a blast on our ski trip. We hung out, did some skiing, ate plenty and just enjoyed getting away! Until next year Park City! Thanks mom and dad!
