Flibbity Gibbits

It feels good to be updating this again. Lots of things happened all at once and writing posts got to be a low priority. but......I'm taking a family history class and our teacher highly recommended that we keep a regular blog/journal. Dear me I'm righteous. I'll start off this little ditty with a story for the books....or for Amy..and mom...and siblings who remember. Anyway during sunday school last sunday I raised my hand to read from the scriptures. Well, the teacher is regrettably trying to learn everybodies name in the class. He looks at me and says the classic line, "oh oh don;t tell me I'm going to get it," even though we all know he won't. Then he says "Lisa right?" There you go Amy. Obviously you were on to something back then. Hmmm what else.? Summer in Rexburg is quite the experience. Weather is bipolar as always. All last week we had 50+ mph winds. Every single last shingle got blown off our roof and all the dirt from the track in the staduim is now make shift pavement on the adjacent street. Crazy. However, yesterday it was 85 degrees and in celebration my FHE group went to snake river and jumped in. Needless to say it was cold. Then we sat on the dock and had a lesson while sipping back homemade rootbeer and munching on brauts..brawts...? Soooooo goood. I love me some meat. Speaking of which I have discussed with mom how excited I am to come home for the seven week break and BBQ. Dear gracious my life I want to barbeque. I want steak with herb butter and A1 with some feta and grape tomato salad. Ahhhh life is good in my brain. On the topic of food. I greatly dislike celery but I am determined to learn to like it. Tomorrow I'm going to go buy some and eat it until I like it. Will power is a beautiful thing. Truely.
Music: Lately the song "Two Princes" by the Spin Doctors has been stuuuuuck in my head. Can't shake it. I don't mind though.
Recipe: I've been into turkey wraps. here's what I do and it is super delish. Get a tortilla. Put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. When the tortilla is steamin' spread mustard on it. Then get some canned turkey warm it up in a can with seasoned salt. Put that turkey in the wrap. Cover the turkey with a fairly good amount of spinach leaves. Fold in any manner that you so desire. Then you stuff. Party for the buds.
