3rd Trimester, Here I Come!

This pregnancy is flying by! I am 26 weeks along and on my way to the third trimester. Things couldn't be going any better. My doctor said my pregnancy has been the picture of perfection. Hopefully she didn't jinx me! I know the next few months are going to go so fast so I'm trying to take it all in and enjoy it. Things at the new house are going very well. They are doing more changes than originally planned and it's going to look wonderful and be a great place for us to live. We can't wait to move! I'm starting to get a little anxious. With this baby coming soon I'm ready to get things moved, set up, and organized!

4 Year Anniversary

This past week Aaron and I celebrated 4 wonderful years of marriage! Every year we give each other the traditional anniversary gifts. Year four is flowers and/or fruit. On Thursday Aaron had flowers sent to me at work. When I got home he gave me the other half of my gift. He made me a fruit bouquet. Very impressive! Aaron likes gardening and plants so I got him a personalized flower pot. The front has our names on it and the back says "Grow Old With Me".
We spent the weekend over in the Cincinnati area. Saturday we went to the Creation Museum. It was interesting and well done. We spent 6 hours there. From there we went to a movie and out to eat at Johnny Rockets.
On Sunday morning we met up with a friend from college, Jenny Wise, and her family. We went to church with them, out to eat, and then spent some time at their house. It had been 3 years since we'd seen them last so it was a great time of catching up!

Christmas and New Years

Aaron and I had a wonderful Christmas break! His family came to us again for Christmas. They got here the night before Christmas Eve and left the next day. It was quick but we enjoyed the time we had with them and appreciated their willingness to drive all that way for just a short period of time. Christmas Eve morning we had a big breakfast and opened presents. We showed them the new house and we played games all afternoon. They headed back home after supper.

Aaron and I spent Christmas Day at home alone again this year. It will be the last one for quite some time! We opened presents and lounged around. We also did some laundry and packed for the trip up north. After church on Sunday we hit the road.

We were able to spend a whole week with my family. Here's a quick recap of the things we did and a slideshow of pictures!
*Spent lots of quality time with family!
*2 breakfasts with friends
*met with my friend Beth at a coffee shop
*Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert-Aaron and I drove up to Grand Rapids for the concert. They put on quite the show!
*Family Christmases with the siblings
*New Year's Eve party at Greg and Natalie's
*Snider family Christmas on New Year's Day

Aaron and I left Saturday afternoon. Let me tell you, riding in a car for 5 hours is not as easy as it used to be! I was quite uncomfortable, but it was all worth it. :)
