Its been a while since I posted. I had a couple of pictures I'd been meaning to take, and was waiting on them. And let's face it, I'm a tired, cranky prego.. who was just diagnosed with a sinus infection and can't breathe.. so just getting through the basics was enough for me.. but today, I am determined to get this post done.. so I hope you enjoy it :)

We were in the basement saying Hi to Tom (he works down there now.. if I hadn't said that before, he's got his desk all set up in his nice and quiet little hole, lol) when Ainsley saw something pink poking out of a bin. Being a fan of all things pink she pulled it out.. and then she had to try it on.. so for your viewing pleasure...

Now you may be thinking.. this looks really familiar..
and for those of you who are... I present to you this..
October 2007

yes, that is Ainsley wearing the 0-6 Month sized Halloween costume.. in both pictures.
Skinny little girl!!

We got Ainsley a new bed this week. She'd been sleeping in her crib that we converted to a toddler bed, but it was so narrow, and so high she kept falling out at night and we'd spend a half an hour calming her down to get her back to bed. Then we saw this cute bed at ikea and she thinks it looks like a 'princess bed', so she loves it.

We're slowly transforming her room from a baby room to a big girl room, she's even wanting to hang up pictures on her walls. She got a princess sticker I didn't want her sticking to anything, but i let her hang the paper with it on it on her wall. Then the day after that she found a stack of ultra sound pictures and was carrying one around all day telling me it was her 'baby sister' and asked to hang that one up next to her princesses... how could i say no?? :)

The excited Big Sister

And for those of you who wanted to see.. here's my first real belly shots. I can't believe I'm almost 25 weeks along and I am just now taking a belly shot. 2nd time around I'm a slacker.. I need to work to make sure I'm not like this after she gets here! lol.

Balloon Madness

Last week we had a baby shower for my friend Kirty (if you know me at all.. you've at least heard about Kirty, lol). She was preg with twins and had been on bedrest for two months and was finally far along enough and felt good enough to be up for the shower we'd been putting off. I went a little crazy with the balloon.. 60 balloons seemed a lot smaller before they were blown up. I showed up at the party store and couldn't believe the size of them.

I was barely able to fit them all in our car. And it's not that small of a car.. it's kind of a crossover SUV kind of a thing. I had to push and push them forward until Ainsley was pretty much totally covered in balloons

At first she thought it was cool, but then I think she got a little claustrophobic and was really glad we didn't have far to go.

Here's a shot of her through the window.

Here they are, in all their glory. I was pretending to float away, but if you look to the bottom of the picture you will see Kirty's foot. The only part of her she allowed to be photographed and posted online. Love ya Girl!

In case you're wondering, she had the babies the next Tuesday, a sweet little baby girl 5lbs 3 oz and a handsome little boy, 6lbs 1oz.
