Annie's visit

Don't worry Suz, we don't know what to think of her either.

We were lucky to have Diane drive up from California. She not only brought us some sunshine, but her Scottish lass and roomie, Carol.

This is the first time Diane got to meet her favorite niece! (ummm, don't tell Liz or Maddy) Suzanna espeically loved the visit....by the end of the visit she was very teary when Annie left. She really loved all the laughs and snuggles from Diane and Carol.

Korean Learning Center

My student, Jesse, is holding Suzanna. He kept saying how he hopes Suzanna doesn't forget him between now and the next time she seems him. :)

Jesse said her toes look like gummy bears.....I laughed pretty hard. Jesse is very witty, I really enjoy teaching him.

We had a small baby shower for Mimi (who is due in September) and Birthday for Suzanna at the Learning Center.

Here are a few of my favorite students I tutor at the Korean Learning Center. (Daniel and Pearl Lee, Jesse Leem)
I've tutored them for the past 3 years, believe it or not! Posted by Picasa

Happy 1st B-day!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY SUZANNA!!

Oh, the joy of your first cupcake! It was surprising how long it took her to really dig in.

We had a small family party...here are some pictures of the night. I especially love the one where Maddy is holding the birthday girl!

Majestic Mount Rainier

We wake up every morning to this majestic mountain! This picture was taken right outside our front door.

This is an over head picture of Mt. Rainier we took from the airplane window last year.

Little one

Football chuck at Kopachuck

We had a blast this year for our anual 4th of July picnic at Camp Kopachuck, Washington.

One of the best parts was watching Casey, Peter and Daniel tossing the football back and forth. A few times Peter had to fish after a stray ball. : )

Casey insisted he was fine holding Suzanna during the tosses, I think he did a good job!

(Only a few days until Suzanna celebrates her first birthday!)

Liz lost count of how many cherries she ate.....but by the look on her mouth and the number of pits on her plate....we guessed 14.

4th of July

Reflections this Independence Day.

We salute all family who have served brilliantly for our nation (Dad, Alex, Casey, Vanessa & John), all those who are currently in harms way (Ken, Diane & Colleen) and those who aspire to serve (Peter).
