Going Private . . .

So something on the news lately has really upset me. Upset me enough that I feel like doing something more with that emotion then just being upset. So I have decided to do a few things that maybe I would have not done without this event happening. So in light of trying to make my family safer and be the most over protective mother I can passable be . . . I am going to go private. I have disable my comments so I will be the only one able to read your comments and therefore your email address. I love you all and don't want to miss out on anyone so I will leave this up for a few weeks and not post anyting for awhile. I hope you all have a Happy Halloween and wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Crested Butte

Last week Steven got a contract for a pool in Crested Butte. Crested Butte is like 3 hours from our house, but if you take the mountain roads it's only like 2 and a half. ;) He had been gone hunting in Montana the week before and wanted us all to come with him to make a site visit. I was a little unsure, but was persuaded by the fact that my children all wanted to go! Things like this tend to remind me of when we started our business and I would tag along with Marin and try to find something to do while Steven was working. I am not a fan of those first few years of starting your own business so I actually hate doing things like this. But I was planning on the trees being beautiful and some time with Steve so I sucked it up and went.

It was beautiful. I cannot believe that the road we took takes you anywhere, let alone drops down into a beautiful valley with mega million dollar homes. Where he is building his next project is a beautiful 1,600 arch ranch. I know it would be hard, especially considering it's like a fourth or fifth home. Nonetheless, we dropped him off and headed to the main part of Crested Bute where we found a Subway and an amazing park for the kids to play at. I was so happy that I had brought my camera AND the matching sweaters I had bought the kids to eventually take some cute pictures. This was how we spent our hour of dinking around in Crested Butte!

On the way home we decided to get out and let the kids play in the snow on that lonely muddy road. After getting everyone out of the car, the truck began to ding which is a delayed locking system. Steven made a run for the car, but it was too late the keys were locked inside. After a few minutes of arguing about "who done it" we realized that was not at all going to help the situation. Realizing there was no way of getting help we then began a 10 min conversation about what window would be the cheapest to replace. We decided on the front passenger window which took more then several good wackes with a hammer to brake. There wasn't much else we could do, but for future reference the front side passenger window was indeed the cheapest to replace!

Naked

Ben was running around tonight naked after being in the hot tub. I asked him to please put cloths on and to this I get this reply. . .

" I can't ma, I super naked boy!"
