Wow, I really, really, REALLY suck at keeping a blog. Much has happened since last December- as you might imagine!
Lets see where to begin... Logan finished Kindergarten, we sold our house, moved, went to Disneyland, tried to build a house, tried to buy a house (both of these ventures didn't work out), Logan broke his arm in two places, put Logan in a new school, I began an internship, Thomas got deployed to Qatar, and here we are...
We are currently renting an apartment while I finish my internship. My mom and sister have been AMAZING at chipping in with the kiddos at this particularly nutso' time in our life- which is really why we moved. I have no idea what I would have done without them this past month with Thomas gone.
So now, the plan is for me to finish my internship and get a job as a school counselor. Once that happens, we're planning to buy a home in or close to the community that I work in so the kiddos can go to the school I work at. This summer we got "apartmentitis" and a little ahead of ourselves and began house shopping. Luckily, we were well watched out for (yes there is quite a story there) and reminded to slow down and stick to the original plan, and that's where we're at.
Thomas has been deployed since mid August and will be coming home in two weeks, yippee!!! Logan gets his cast off tomorrow (hopefully) and has been really liking his new school. Lukey loves spending time at "Jueys" house with Sis and is always his cute spirited self.
Me, I'm hanging in there- some days by a thread, but hanging none the less. So there we are- in complete chaos and transition, but life marches on and we have been amazingly blessed and therefore cannot complain. My new goal is this- be be less sucky at updating the blog :)

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!!!
These are the photos from our season thus far. The boys were SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to get the train out, and of course they think that I'm an evil mom for not letting them play with it ALL of the time. We kicked off the Christmas season by going to see the lights the day after Thanksgiving. I'm glad we did it early when it was still semi warm. I think the boys loved it as much as I did, which is encouraging that I'm rubbing off on them with my Christmas giddiness. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Christmas!!!
Wow, Christmas is in a week! I have many photos from the season that I'll be posting shortly. The kids are doing great and loving the season. I gave Lucas a pair of safety scissors and a roll of wrapping paper yesterday and he was set for an hour! Logan has loved Christmas time at school, and is having his school party tomorrow. I'm trying to slow down and take in every minute this Christmas, that's my goal anyway. So to everyone who reads this, Merry Christmas! We love you!!!

My Grandpa
I have been very lucky to have gone twenty seven years without the death of a close loved one touching my life, and am not really sure how to process this now. During the past week I think I've not only been trying to deal with my grandpas death, but trying to deal with the fact that I'll never see my papa in his chair at family functions again, I'll never look over and see him grinning at my grandma without her knowing it again, and I'll never hear his standard "hi sugar" again in this life. My grandpa made an amazing impact on my life, and I would not be who or where I am today without his love support and encouragement. This is a bitter sweet time for me, because I am so glad that he is no longer in pain, but he has been a rock and a solid fixture in my life since the beginning, and I don't know what to do without him now. I am focusing on the positive. I know that he is learning all kinds of amazing things now, whether he wants to or not :). I am thankful to have had him as my papa for as long as I did. For our inside jokes, for our shared love of food, and for him always letting me know how important I was to him. Mostly I am thankful to have been blessed with such a great man who filled my childhood with happiness and fond memories. Thank you papa, I love you.

Happy Fall Y'all!!!
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. The leaves are crisp, the air is cool, and the holidays begin. We have had a crazy busy fall so far, and have had so much fun. We've visited the pumpkin patch, Frightmares, the Haunted Dinosaur Park, the Haunted Hanger, Halloween parties, etc. Here are a couple of pictures from our adventures this month.
