So for my big 23rd birthday, (Which turned out quite well, thank you everyone!), I was able to visit Athina (see a previous blog for details), and I was given some money which I put toward re-doing our bedroom. I hated the fabric on our 8 month old comforter so I opted for a silk duvet cover and feather duvet, as well as a feather matress pad, it made for the best sleep I've EVER had! Just like Hannah's room, my room is still a work in progress, it just takes time, and money, to get everything looking just right. Anyway, it was indeed, a very happy birthday!

I have slowly been re-decorating here and there. I think come Spring I am so sick of my house because I've been cooped up all winter. This Spring I started with Hannah's room, here are some pictures. My bedroom is next, but that may have to wait until next week. If you ever see any pink and brown decorations, especially linens, let me know! This summer we've also planned to add to our back patio and put up crown molding...we'll see if my ambition lasts that long! (oh, the lamp was my very first Ikea purchase!)

We went to a wedding on Monday and here is a picture of Hannah's obliging fake smile. It is so cute when she actually smiles, but so hard to catch on camera! Tonight she fell asleep at grandma's while we were at the Jazz game, so she is pictured here a bit ragged sleeping (Kolby insisted I put it up, it is his small contribution to the photography!) Earlier today she climed into my suitcase thinking she was going to California with me tomorrow, wish I had my camera at the time, such is life!

Instead of going to Stake Conference today we decided to stay home. I work full-time and don't often get the chance to follow Hannah around and just play without a timeline. So after bathing Hannah today I just let her dig into all of her toys and it's fun to see what she can do in just 15 minutes! She went from ballerina to mommy in just 5!
