Swimming at Papa's

On Saturday we went over to celebrate Father's day with my family. My parents were out of town for the holiday, no surprise since they are ALWAYS out of town! :-) Papa had gone and bought a swimming pool that day. After dinner Reily, Rian and Payton went outside to play in the pool. Payton was a little hesitant at first but once my dad poured a couple of buckets of warm water in there, she was just fine. She's a little fish in the water! You can tell by the photos that they had a blast!!

The shirt says it all!

On Mother's Day my whole family was at my parents and we decided to tell everyone the big news!! Yes, I'm Pregnant! It was so cute because everyone would stare at Payton and then look at her a little funny and then look at me the same way. They would say "is that true?" I wanted to tell everyone in a fun way so Tim went on the Internet and found this cute shirt!

I guess you could say this is the real reason that I have not been blogging. It has been a little bit different from my last pregnancy. I was never sick with Payton! But with this one I have been very nauseated. I have not thrown up, just been icky!! We found out before I went to Orlando, literally the night before I left. We are due December 7, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that I go a week early and it is a November baby!! We find out what we are having in 4 weeks!! I don't really have a preference just a happy, healthy baby!!

Tim aka "Daddy"

I have created a monster, well actually Tim has! Last week Payton was trying to get Tim's attention and had said "Daddy" 2 or 3 times. I then said, "Tim, Payton is trying to get your attention" and of course Tim then answered Payton. Well ever since then, it has been "Tim". She knows how to get his attention now!!

I guess "Daddy" will start paying better attention :-)

First time...

Tim's first time (and probably the LAST TIME) mowing the lawn :-)

We have never had a yard and Tim is soooo excited to mow this lawn! We will soon be buying a riding lawnmower...soon!!

Easter....

I was looking through all of my photos and thinking have I really not posted Easter? But after searching my blog I figured out that I have not! Payton was great on Easter morning. She was so surprised to see this BIG pink bunny! But I think the shopping cart takes the cake. She pushes that thing around everywhere. The Easter Bunny hid some eggs over the living room and she actually caught on very quickly! Before you know it she had all of her eggs in her princess bucket. She then got to help mommy with her Easter egg hunt. Tim had hid Easter eggs all over upstairs and I got a NICE gift card too! Thanks babe! Here are a few photos of Easter morning!

St. George

There is no place better for a weekend getaway than St. George. I love it down there! We headed down for Memorial weekend. We stayed at my parents home down there. We met Tim's parents and his brother Tom and his wife Tara and their 3 cute girls! Tim golfed for the weekend and Payton and I hung out. We went and visited Tim's grandparents in Enterprise on Saturday. That was a lot of fun!

Payton discovered "outside" and it was all over after that. She just kept telling Tim and I, "outside, outside". I took her on a walk and we found a kitty. She was so intrigued by the cat and would get close and then the kitty would come close to her and she would run back. We followed the kitty for about 30 minutes and then finally had to tell the kitty, "night, night kitty" She had a great time hanging out with mom and dad!

I started reading "Twilight" while I was there and at that point nothing got accomplished. Except I was really good to stay up late and read it or read during Payton's nap time. I finished that and went searching for "New Moon" I could only find it at Deseret Book. I bought it and started reading it on Sunday night when I finished "Twilight" I was so excited and then when I got to page 56 it just did not flow well to the next page. I looked at the page number and it jumped back to page 27. I had 27-56 repeated in my book and 56- 104 was missing!! It was 9:30 on Sunday night when I made this discovery! I was sooooo frustrated! I decided to read on to page 105 and then ended up getting lost. The next morning I was at Deseret Book at 9:30 AM and traded my copy for their LAST copy of the book! Tim told me I was "pathetic" Thanks babe :-)

Here are a few photos of fun...

Me & Daddy

Catching up!!

Now that I am home for a bit I thought it was time to catch up, especially once I saw all the photos I have yet to download!

Payton is growing up soooooo fast! I can hardly believe it! She says all kinds of words and sings all the time!! She knows her animal sounds, well most of them and I can't wait to take her to the zoo!! She also sings "twinkle, twinkle", "itsy-bitsy spider", "3 blind mice", her "A,B,C's", "pat-a-cake" and "monkeys jumping on the bed". The best part about them is she sings them and does actions to them :-) I love it! She always sings to me on the way home. I think the thing that melts my heart is that she says "please" and "thank you". I love that!!

She also learned something the other day. She said daddy the other day about 2 times trying to get her daddy's attention. When he didn't respond, i finally said "Tim, Payton is talking to you" So Tim responded to her. Well know she knows that her daddy's name is Tim! Tim is not too happy about being referred to as "Tim" and not daddy. She typically will at least try "daddy" once or twice but then when he doesn't respond she goes straight to Tim. Needless to say she is becoming a parrot and will repeat most of what she hears. It is SO fun to have her learning so many new words and names. She loves to go to Karen's in the morning (daycare). When we get ready to leave I will say, "Are you ready to go to Karen's?" and she will say "Rian and Mel Mel". These are her 2 friends at daycare. It is sooooo cute!
