Fall photos

This last weekend I was up at the Canyons Resort for work. Tim brought the kids up along with some cute outfits :-) and we took a few photos. I was hoping to take some photos in the leaves but it was a downpour. So we found these cute fall setups that made a great backdrop.

An "itch" to blog

I have been looking at everyone else's cute blogs and have had an "itch" to update mine. After all my cute little Beckam is now 21 months!!! Yes, I know crazy or pathetic, that it has been 17 MONTHS!!! I have blogged, just never posted. So over time as I pull photos I will update Beckam & Payton growing up. In the meantime....my Payton is 3 for another month and a half and my little Beckam turns 2 in a few months!! Exciting and fun but yet sad to see them grow up. :-(

So no expectations...just an update here and there, (mainly for Grandma & Papa who no longer see the kids all of the time!)

Alpine slide & dinner at Buca

I have wanted to take my two little speed demons (yes, they get this from their daddy) to ride the Alpine Slide in Park City. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!! When we got there the sign said you had to be 2 to be a passenger. Beckam is close, he is as big as a two year old :-) We rode the lift and they loved it. Beckam was silent and Payton was hanging over the bar looking down, giving Tim (who is afraid of heights) a heart attack. We had a few deer run right under the lift which was pretty neat! Then when we got to the top we walked to the slides and Beckam rode with Tim and Payton rode with me. They both LOVED it!!! The whole way down Payton was screaming and saying, "go faster" and "cannonball" (something she has picked up at Karen's I am sure) They were both sad when we were done. Tim then took Payton on the roller coaster up there. You had to be 3 to ride that. :-( So Beckam & I hung out and went and bought another ticket for us to ride the Alpine Slide. We made it just in time before they closed. After Beckam and Payton rode the little roller coaster. They had fun!!

After we took them to dinner at Buca di Beppo. It seemed to be a hit, but then again both of my kids love spaghetti.

A good weekend overall!

Dance class

Payton started dance last Thursday. Here are a few pics from when we got home. I love that she was doign all of these "dance poses". She was cracking me up.

A ride up Butterfield

My kids became obsessed with "scooters" at my parents property in Fairview. So a couple of months ago Tim found a "great deal" :-) on 4 wheelers or at our house "scooters". So he bought scooters and has been able to do a few rides with his buddies. Well we decided on Labor Day to take a ride up Butterfield. I have actually never been to the top. We went up to the top and looked into the Copper Mine and then drove down and had a picnic. It was a bit tiring for the kids but we had a lot of fun!!

Payton loved wearing her "space helmet"

Lunch with Raylee & Rowan

I had the day off of work after my convention. So what did we do...of course call Jody to see if her and Raylee wanted to come out. They are our favorite buddies to hang with when I am off of work. We got an extra surprise when Patty and Rowan came along. The kids had lunch and watched a movie and played, played, played! Come back soon! :-)

Thanks guys, let's do lunch soon!

The first football game at Herriman High School

It has been about 2 years in the making and on August 20th Herriman High School had their first home football game. So we decided to pack the kids up and head over. It was PACKED!! The line was all the way in front of the building. We finally made it in at halftime. We sat next to Tiffany & Aaron Cameron from our neighborhood. They have the sweetest little girl, Sophia. Payton has so much fun with Sophia. I totally see these girls dancing on that football field in the future...a few more years! :-)

While at the game, Payton loved the cheerleaders. She said, "Mommy, one day I am going to be one of those girls down there." A girl of my own heart! :-)

Beckam enjoyed the game too!!
