L-O-V-E
Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband! We enjoyed a nice dinner tonight, talking, and reminiscing about the past seven years. I feel so blessed and am thankful everyday for my sweetheart! My tummy was extremely thankful for the delicious ribeye, shrimp en brouchette, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the artichoke shrimp au gratin dip with toasted bread. Don't judge... I'm eating for three! Year number seven was a great year, I love you Clay!

Successful Swimsuit Shopping, Is That Even Possible?
Just bought a cute maternity swimsuit today. I hadn't been swimming in about a week, and the suit I had was working out pretty well during the transition from pre-prego. However, yesterday when I went to put it on the seam below your bust was about three inches lower than it should be. I was already at the gym and the boys were waiting for me to come pick them up to go swimming so I couldn't just leave. I just tied the halter straps really tight and hoped that I didn't flash anyone the "goods". So off to the store I went and I found a cute tankini that is flattering and extra long. I was even more excited that I got it on sale! Looks like I'll be able to enjoy the pool until my due date, well hopefully, I don't know how big this tummy will get with twins and I'm not one to let anything hang out the bottom of my swim top! It is a rare occasion to go swimsuit shopping and find a suit at the first store, and second to not feel totally depressed afterwards, yea for a successful trip and I even had two kids tagging along!

Getting Back to Things... For How Long... I Cannot Say
Well my boys have been taking up my time the last year and a half, and I really don't mind a bit! I thought I'd try and do a little blogging but it won't last long... why... well this might explain it.
I should mention there are two little boys in that tummy! Isn't my Connor adorable! I can't believe he is starting preschool in a month, I am going to miss him.

Magical Imaginations
I ran from fire ants, magic bees, mosqitos, magic bats, and spiders that were all over in my dining room. Carson protected me while swatting at the ground and air with the fly swatter and yelling "go away, go away" and then screaming when he discovered a new bug that was attacking us. He was quite my hero, and then reminded me that it was just "patend" (pretend) I guess I was getting a little too scared! I enjoyed playing an imaginative game with him today!

Rock n' Roll San Antonio Marathon
I ran the marathon yesterday and it felt great to finish!! First I want to tell everyone who encouraged me along my 5 1/2 months of training thank you for the support. Thank you to Scott and Diane my inlaws for the beautiful flowers, to my brother Cameron and sister inlaw Lindsay for the marathon kit and for every word of encouragment from everyone! Thanks to my dad who took all of these amazing pictures and for both my parents for coming and cheering me on. I think I have to thank my husband the most for supporting me through this goal. Every Saturday morning he spent with the boys and Saturday afternoons he spent taking care of my aches and pains following runs, along with sacrificing nights during the week for me to go on runs. He basically has had no chance to do something for himself. I could not have done this without him. So thank you everyone! Now I will attempt to take you on a quick look at my experience.
This picture is around mile 10 when I was still feeling good.
Finally after I was a little more composed I am proudly displaing my medal!!

My Run and a Bum Bum
So this morning I ran 12 miles for my marathon training. It was quite the mental run. It was 56 degrees and I was on my own. I had a couple interesting discoveries. First, other runners singing out loud to their music is incredibly annoying at 6:20 in the morning. Wear more than a short sleeved shirt in cold weather. Always get out of bed even when you really don't want to, it's always worth it in the end. Finally I have a "what would you do" question for everyone. I was coming up on two women running when I noticed one of them had something on her butt. As I got closer and was trying to figure out what it was, I realized it was a nice, round spot, smack in the middle of her pants that was worn through. I was literally looking at her butt crack. I mean I could totally see it all, it was that bad. In my head I was thinking.. "how could you not notice that when you put your pants on" I mean really I just couldn't see how you could miss it because it was sooo see through. So I was debating whether to say anything to her about it. Do I say, "excuse me but your butt is showing","excuse me I can totally see your butt crack through your pants", "there's a worn through spot on your pants and you can see through them" there just wasn't an easy way of pointing it out. Plus I didn't want to embarras her more in front of other people. Then I thought well maybe she knows she has this huge see through spot on her butt but she couldn't afford another pair of pants or she didn't have another pair clean or some kind of excuse that forced her to have to wear them. I decided to not say anything but I am thinking I should have told her, I mean wouldn't you rather have someone tell you these things, and even if she already knew that it was there she would have expected someone was going to say something. I just really hope she has discovered it and that she can get a new pair of pants, if she couldn't have afforded them I would have totally gone to Walmart and bought her some because no one should have to run with their butt showing. What would you have done in my situation? I hate akward things like that. Maybe I'll see her next week and I'll check out her butt.

Breakfast
I need food help.... I just am tired of the same old stuff to eat. I want something new or at least a little more variety to eat. I have always thought it would be fun to sit in people's houses like a fly on the wall and just see how they live. I would love the good ideas that I would get and I would feel better about myself after I see all the things that aren't great that you guys do!! But I really was wondering if you could give me some ideas of healthy meals that are pretty easy which translates to nothing that takes a really long time or too much attention to detail. So please give me some ideas for breakfast.... I am eating multigrain cherrios almost everyday, booorrrriiinngggg. What do you guys eat for breakfast???
