Haha it's like the 2nd week of work already for me. I must say tat time really files when u r working. In fact, I would stare at my watch in disbelief when I realised it's lunchtime or work end time. Maybe it's cos I have neva ending work on hand. And my senior still as serious but there's an improvement though! She actually gave me a tiny smile... wahaha! But she is v nice and patient with me so no worries =) Glad tat she neva explode (erm yet) cos of my slow cum blurrness. Got to meet kristin and yan ru for lunch too!

Had a few dinners w all my dearies this week to end my no life-ness. Haha ping finally came to my di pan- Hougang mall! Had my fav jap chicken karaage at the food court. Ping claim to c someone but I still can't believe it's him lar... err okie my memory not perfect. When shopping ard for tat stupid fei lun hai cd which just haf to get itself sold out like everywhere! Bet it's those scheming cd shops hiding them so they can up the price at the last min!

Shang tian really wans to give me and quek a big test b4 our first autograph session tgt. So qiao quek's tuition kid suddenly postpone so she can look for the cd w me today! Heh we went kbox again with hui... haha yes and we r gg kbox again 2 weeks later. It's becoming a routine haha. We wait for this particular music store which says the stock coming today and they will be contacting us. But then we wait for N hours they still haven call *faints* So we started our plan B- calling up all the branches and music stores. N we super lucky cos our first call to kovan hit jackpot- I love music junction siah! We rush down to kovan and waalaa, in my hand was the lovely cd which quek took pains to find. Heh in actual fact, quek more uptight then me- I super relax thruout the sourcing process hoho.

Yesh tmr is the autograph session... Actually i am not a v feng kuang fan and i dun love them to bits either (yes my interest in da dong like fading a bit). But gg for the experience cos it's not like one can do such stuffs at any age. Wah can't imagine me doing this when I am 40. Hoho for a young band no less! And I like them enuff (cf to other grps) to sacrifice my $20 and sleep. Actually S.H.E also not bad leh but diff place... haiz mao dun!

Wah had a big scare just now cos thout the music cd spoil and haf to go back n change. My heart almost stop when I heard my com splattering out each track. Luckily it's just my lousy com cd-rom player... really heng or else I will really run all over the place tmr!

Okie more abt my experience nxt wk when I blog again. Excited =) Haiz more work nxt week since e client's infor come in liao... horrors of horrors the no.s r above 50!!! Arghhh they better pay me for ot ar... Gd luck to min n jane they all for their new job! Jia you my dears... Cya soon too (meet up for dinner!).



Heh i feel oblige to blog cos my poor blog is being neglected by me. Yes it has been 1 week of work for me! Wow frankly speaking I didn't expect it to be so draining and different. Independence is the key to working life. I have to start paying for my own meals and transport which cost a bomb. And there is the terrible decision of what to wear. Haiz guys r really v lucky cos office wear is so simple for them- a shirt which random patterns like stripes, spots etc, a tie and black trousers. Unfair! And I fell sick during this week... must be the icy aircon!

The first few days were training for us. The training room was like some ice box and even though I was wearing 3 layers of clothes on me, I still felt as if I had circulated around the acrtic for 3 rounds. Everytink the trainer taught us is like a buzz cos it just wriggles around in my head and dun really make a lot of sense most of the time. My general knowledge about tax is near zero and I dun even noe what is income tax returns. Okie I am a frog in the well but I was a student wat... Know about tax for wat?! But tat first few days were quite slack and I went ard telling ppl online (yes I went msn during work time which is WRONG! Dun follow this bad eg.) tat my work is slack. I eat my words!

Heh but the trainers and our boss quite nice and kind to us. The boss treated us to a yummy lunch- pizza and sushi. My friends should noe tat I haven eaten sushi for years n my dislike of sushi goes way back. But I finally broke the streak and ate my first ever sushi in dunno how many years! And the verdict: omg it's so nice =) By the way it's from sakae so my dear friends, we can started gg there for meals liao heh heh.

So far I have tried quite a no. of food from my working area and they are all not bad! I am v surprise actually cos i thout they will prob be those typical foodcourt stuffs which are bland and err ubiquitous. But I was wrong. My stomach will groan whenever I tink of tat yong tau fu I ate at caltex hse. Super nice! Mos burger was great too though it burned a hole in my pocket but I am sure me and ah mah didn't mind at all :)

Then the day finally came. THU. The day we officially start work. I was entitled to one senior to assist and wah my first task- arghhhh it's tat stupid tax compute. Okie it is basically to keypunch some weird data tat is all over the place and u haf to dig thru files or use instincts and assumptions to guess the most accurate data. At the same time, brain juice must be allocated to analysing where to key in those specific data cos one wrong entry means bye bye to ur entire compute and yours truly will haf to reprint the whole doc and check each puny no. again with the pink luminous pen while madly punching in those irritating no. on the calculator to chk whether mr excel has made any error in summing up the nos. (though of course I do show absolute faith in mr microsoft excel's ability since it prob got bigger IT cell brains than me- but my bosses dun). Yar tat was a long sentence but i need to show how a teeny error can expand to such a horizon. Dun it reminds us of cancer cells? Hur hur...

Heh my nxt task, to make (i counted) exactly 49 files. Making files is a no brain job meaning dun even haf to tink. Make labels, put fasteners, punch holes. Woohoo finally smth tat match up to my ability- yar can tell how "great" my ability is hor -_-'''. So far only made 4 trial ones and they came out gd. Ok to be fair how bad can sticking stickers be? Haiz haf to finish 7 more computes b4 I can start making those files. Heh but it's funny how I start wishing tat people dun move hse in the middle of the year or join clubs or live in their parents hse, etc so dun haf to type in more. Hoho only me and my colleagues will understand the joke though.

Oh and had my first ot this week too. The company was nice enuff to provide free dinner of our choice. But working till 9 is no joke. I fall flat onto my bed the moment I reached home. Actually I am married to my bed the moment I get home from work everyday. Super no life. Didn't even wan to on com cos I am sick of looking at the com monitor. This is called Excess-com-viewing syndrome (ECVS).

Okie back to my no-life work again tmr. Actually (horrors of horrors) I kind of enjoy the job cos it's quite fun. And the small challenges make it less mundane. Hopefully I will get better at it. More about my work on my blog entries soon since it is dominating my life. Hope u ppl out there r happy w ur jobs and those who r currently unemployed, must treasure ur short live freedom!!! Trust me, I know the pain of losing it. Thanx goodness for ah gong cos she save me from my "no-life" situation: haha cos we went to IMM today for shopping! Err but my bank account is depleting fast... haiz.



This is the last week of total freedom at least for the nxt 6 months. Kind of sad that I have to bid it farewell quite soon considering it's almost the weekends in a few hours time. I remember telling myself to brush up my excel and typing skills in the the last week but unfortunately, i have been procastinating for a long long time. Mmm I still haf time on sun though.

Apologies to quek for my lack of progress with wei xiao pasta but i haf been too obsess with hua yang. So far I have only completed epi 11 but I will rush thru today. Hopefully i can finish. But she is v right when she said tat it is better than er mo zai shen bian. It's funny how just one show can change my perception of celebrities. I haf neva been fans of wang xin ling and xian qiao. In fact, I haf been actively revealing my dislike for them since ppl ard me share the same sentiment. However, after this show... wham I suddenly tink xiao qiao is not too bad after all. In fact, I feel ashame for disliking her just becos she acted as baddies in all her other show. Okie she is not actually a saint in this show either but her character is one which I admire.

As for cyndi, wah I wil just roll my eyes whenever anytink related to her is ard me (a frequent occurrence cos my sis and bro LOVE her to bits for reasons totally unknown to me!). However after watching pasta, I realise tat yang chen ling is more act cute than her. Haha my friends will know tat I always compared the 2 of them. Horrors of horrors, I actually like the character she portrayed in the show. Heh I got to admit there's not much left for me to be an anti-cyndi liao. And her songs r quite nice and (horrors again!) even those cutey pie ones are catchy o_o

Okie I am almost off to finish watching it. Mmm I finally got to spell out smth in words. Though I have always be sure about it, it feels really gd to actually tell someone. Oh and I sense an omen and got a bad feeling about smth. Sensitivity may not be a bad tink. Now I am on my guard. This is getting tiring... argh!

I am blogging alot this few days cos super free. Hope I will be able to do that after I start work too! Well I finally have smth to blog about besides all the video and manga. Haha cos I finally step out of my house.

Went out for steamboat with xap and becks! No it's not becos I strike lottery so I can afford to be so extravagant. In fact, I am as broke as ever. But since this is my last week of freedom for the nxt 5 months, I decided to be less stingy withmy money. Actually, ever since I got tat plastic atm I haf stop being careful withmy spending all tgt! The danger of a tiny plastic :o

Well the lunch steamboat was not bad. Never heard of coca b4 since it's hidden in some corner of taka. It's suppose to be a buffet but we dun even haf to take anytink ourselves cos we r served for everytink. Felt pampered. Spent 3 hours eating and chatting. Jane u miss out man!

Went to walk walk and wat followed was a nice afternoon tea at starbucks. Ok technically we didn't eat anytink, just drank the supreme coffee there. It better be since it's ex. Talk and talk abt interesting tinks. Heh it's really gd to go out with different people cos they r so different. One interesting tink is the qn of whether u wan ur better half to leave u for a person of the same gender or diff. Wahaha they didn't pick the typical guy ans... Heh they r the sensitive new age guys who r non-ego! Now I noe such guys do exist =)

Too bad can't catch a movie so they pei me to shop ard for working clothes. Bet they r bored but too bad. Argh I did smth I regreted... take it easy ar!

Ok i am gg to take a poke at an innocent child. I did some REAL talking to one's counterparts today. Try to understand the REAL definition of talking ok? *snickers* Ok I shall stop being mean.

I cleaned out my room just now and all I saw was dust, dirt and bugs on my shelves... I was living with them for the past 1 year. Yar i noe I am a neat and tidy person too. I nearly fainted when I saw those stuffs in the cleaning water. I shall not elaborate though.



I am dying to give my thouts about death note. Bear with me while I give my own ideas about it. A rather cool story I can say.

1) Split personality is truly a scary tinky. Light appears prim and proper, a smart person who is your average school boy. But behind that facade or should I say his alter ego, belongs to a scary person who believes he solely can play god and do justice to the world. Pure childishness in my opinion.
2) Boredom can kill. The reason why light opened the book and started the killing spree was because life was too mundane for him. He is too smart and thus haf too much time and spends it on psychopathic and mind games. I can only say... he's too free! Lower his IQ by 50 and I bet he will be overwhelmed by all those freaky exams rather than how to strike off the latest criminal.
3) Battle of wits is truly exciting. I love it when L manages to shake light's composure by just deducing stuffs which light never expects him to. Both are equally smart but L has my vote.

Unfortunately, such fiction may parallel real life. No i am not ready to believe the existence of the death god, but the likes of light and L can exist in real life- perhaps not to such standard of brilliance though. It can be really scary and woe to those who haf to face each people.

The sadistic stuffs aside, I am watching Hana Kimi now and it totally rocks! Da dong is my absolute fav. I seldom go truly ga ga over a celebrity (those temp ones not even counted) but everytink abt him in tat show justifies why I shld break my streak. Heh a lovely poster of his face is now in my room and did i mention the one on my msn and my com desktop. Who would mind being surrounded by such a a cute person. I shall indulge.

Haha this few days has been my tv cum manga cum online video period. Heh yes andy it is indeed delightful to be rid of tat 56k cos finally I can go you tube to actually watch the videos and not look at the "loading" word for 15 min.

Before I get tired of blogging and run back to me vids, I will give my gan xiang about the most recent show I watched which is er mo zhai shen bian. Heh though I haven't watch finish (4 more epi), i already got alot of thouts abt it.

My favourite couple is not the main leads. Ok yang chan ling and tat scary guy haf a v sweet r/nship but dun really feel much about it. Instead I like the other couple which is yang ping and li xiang. Those who neva watch wun noe who they r lar. I super xian mu li xiang cos yang ping is such a cute guy! No it's not becos he is shuai but his character =) I like the way the gal always bully the guy and how the guy oblige. Xian mu xian mu!!!

Okie i attempted to get a quote from the show but sort of failed cos can't really find any nice ones. Maybe most of them r in the front part or I too sleepy to notice (my tv shift is those unholy hours of 3am). But got one not bad: one should drink the coffee at the right timing cos the temperature would be just right- it applies for relationships too! Okie it dun sound so nice when I translate it into eng but I dun noe the exact chinese words.

My fav scene or the sweetest scene belongs to one concerning the leads (who else since most the stroy revolves around them). The guy did a simple tink but I tink super gan ren. They were visiting the gal's father's grave and v shang gan. Then the guy like pull out his sweater and wrap plus hug her followed by a simple "这样就不会冷了." Very simple but v sweet.

This week is filled with gd news. I finally managed to rent death note! Ok the 5-8 book have been rented out but the 1-4 books are in my hands! Basically I will multi-task where I watch tv and read manga during the adverts. Ok back to my watching and reading...



Finally this day has come!!! I finally got my broadband!!! Okok this is kua zhang but u ppl prob dunnoe the agony of not having broadband... my dialup tranfer speed is so slow, I can even read a book while waiting for the page to load. Bu the strange tink is tat I still can't see shawn's blog though I can see the green cursor heh. The page loaded though. And ping's blog is really too large cos she upload alot of songs so the tag board is taking donkey years to upload. Wah i am so dying to go online and watch u tube or anime! But first I must settle those dvds quek loan to me... wahaha I can getting addicted.

Heh finally got to try cartel. Yes yes I must be living in some deserted part of the world to not try cartel till now. And guess who i tried it with? The food gang of cos namely hui they all haha. I am always trying new food with them. Wah the teriyaki chicken pasta is v v nice!! In fact I tink it's the best pasta I haf ever eaten. I am definitely gg back to eat tat =) Congrats to quek, shawn and hui for getting their respective jobs. Heh must treat me meal after your get ur pay.

Went to quek's house with ping. Had alot of fun and I intro chrono to them! Gong's ng scenes are funny. Quek let us see her memoir of her life and I tink it's a great idea. Maybe I will do it too when I have the money to buy the album. Th rest of this nice outing is recorded in ping's blog so i dune elaborate le.

Transport fees this few days are so so ex! The amount I spent each day is enough to pay for my previous transport fee for 2 days. And now haf to scan the ez link when I get off the bus and well let's just say my memory is not tat great.

Wacthing er mo zai shen bian now. Wah I haf alot of gan xiang after watching it. Like how I misunderstood the monster at first too. I thout he is a scary and evil she hui bai lei who is an absolute freak. But later one will realise he is actually a nice person who tries to act cool to cover it up. The tink is I will alwaysthose who look like pai kias are surely pai kias without considering whether they got any gd side. Sometimes it's true (maybe more true in real life compared to the ou xiang ju world) but then come to tink of it, they are stil humans like us and they shld haf both their gd and bad sides only in different forms. Okok I will look at the possible pai kias with a different eye now, though it's kind of hard when they make a hell lot of sound in the bus or vandalise the playground.

Secondly, after reading so many xiao shuo from taiwan and watching tat show. I realise it's quite easy for a guy to make a gal fall in love with him at least from these stories. Just be very wen rou to tat gal and treat her a bit different and waala, u haf a gal who haf feelings for him. Okie maybe not only tat lar cos must be chemistry or the guy must haf some mei li and special traits first. Personally no such experience cos the these r fictionous male god characters tat came alive from a gal's imagination so obviously cease to exist since the historical age. Dying to go taiwan to check out whether dor's claims tat guys there v shuai... heh heh.

Ok I must continue to watch quek's ou xiang ju. Heh i never fast forward except the song part and some really wu liao parts lar but v v few. Thie songs got a lot of nice quotes but I forgot it liao. Maybe try to rmb a few to add it in here.
