Yes I have been lazy and the inspiration to blog has never really came for the past 6 to 7 months. Even when I was a couch potato in the States. Initially, I wanted to have a speedy post about the States but that would have to wait because it will take aeons.
The past few weeks since I was back feels like a whirlwind of events, outings and emotions. It is definitely great to be back but the lingering reminisce of those carefree times in the States makes me wanna go back all over again.
I still remembered that horrible first day of school a couple of weeks ago. Usual gang of my tutorial friends- missing. Stuck with a class of Year 2s (it proved to be a blessing in disguise later). A pitiful attempt to form a real project group as others already have their cliches. Depressing isn't it. And I guess the only other person who could understand was my exchange mate. Thank goodness I have his company.
But I have since moved on and after getting over these hiccups, things got better. A small team won't matter and it's probably easier to work anyway. My Year 2 group members are totally a fun bunch to be with, and I enjoy being mistaken as being a Year 2 (consistent with my claims of being young and hip). Joining stuffs like the tax competition help keep me busy, make new friends and learn great stuffs. I still miss those lunch breaks with friends and hanging out with momo but at least... I have moved on and I would just bug my old or old-old friends more =p
A recent incident has also affected me greatly. The confusion and frustration was overwhelming and boy was I glad I asked. We tend to impose our own character and beliefs on others and this can blind us to everything. The truth is had we been in his/her situation, we simply would not behave as rationally as we believe we would. No matter how sure we are about our "rationality".
Communication is much talked about solution. But how many of us were brave enough to take the initiative? The fear of being rejection, bringing up old wounds, saying the wrong things at the wrong time and being emotional. It is not only just about the quantity of communications, it is about communicating at the right time, to set aside one's emotions and to really listen.

FAVE QUOTE OF LATE
Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity -- albert einstein
