Father's Day

Well life has been good these past few weeks. Not a whole lot of new stuff, work as usual for me and work/ school for Trevor. He did finish his Kinesiology class this week so he only has one class for the rest of the semester. His work schedule right now is the 7-7:30 shift on Wednesdays and Fridays, and one day during the weekend. (Or possibly Saturday night.) So life for him has slowed a little down for the summer which is GREAT. He is still doing reseach up at the hospital and now has a slew of new gross stories to tell from there as well. How fun for me!!!!!!!!!! He also helped out at a MAW fundraiser last week at Thanksgiving Pointe with a golf tounament. He said it was fun and enjoyed being a volunteer!( We still haven't had a chance to start a wish, summer is crazy and either our schedule is crazy or MAW's people are out of town, or whatever! But we are still really excited and thrilled to be apart of such a great organization!) Trevor also got a calling in our ward to be a sunday school teacher for the 16-17 class. He taught last sunday and all he said was that it went " pretty good". I'll let ya know if he decides to share more on the subject. But I am thrilled he has a calling! We REALLY enjoy our ward and love being in Farmington. I still am teaching primary and received a huge reward this last sunday when sweet Anna told me she had finished the Book of Mormon!!!! I was thrilled and beamed like a proud teacher. I just kept telling her how proud of her I was.

Well, Sunday was Father's Day, and we had a great day. We had used our Mother's Day gift to Trevor's mom as a Father's day gift as well since it was so expensive, so we just got him a card. We were having a hard time finding something for my dad, and to make a LONG story short ended up giving him a gag gift to "pimp" his car, including a heart felt poem from my Trevor Jay! It was cute, funny and sweet of him. He has so many different talents!

Both of our father's are wonderful. My dad is the most amazing guy. He is just what I want to become and I love him so much. He is so great at making Trevor feel comfortable, and I know Trevor looks up to him a lot and often comments on characteristics he would like to learn form my dad. I love you dad!!!!!!! He amazes me more everyday how Christ-like he is! I hope I make him proud and show him how privledged I feel to be his daughter! After Trevor he is the man I most love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I can't technically talk for Trevor about how he feels about his dad, but I can tell you what I do know or have seen. Trevor is his dad to a T!!!! They are so much alike it is so crazy! But I know Trevor looks up to his dad so much. Any extra time he has without me around is spent on projects with his dad. They are two peas in a pod!! Trevor has learned so much from Dad Spencer, and for that I am very grateful. Dad Spencer is always so much fun to be around and usually has me laughing about something in no time at all.

We love you dad's and hope that we show you on more than your special day!!

until next time!!

DISNEYLAND!!!

Well we have returned from the Happiest Place on Earth, safely but with a little kicking and screaming! We had such a fantastic time!!!! Thanks again Mom and Dad Spencer for taking us, we have made memories that will last us forever. We left Tuesday May 27 and returned June 1. We had a four day park hopper pass to go between Disneyland and California Adventure. They were both loads of fun, and the weather couldn't have been better. It really was the perfect vacation, and at the perfect time of year. I have tons of piuctures that will show you how much fun we had, but I thought I'd list a few of my favorite, or memorable, things about the trip. ( In no particular order!!)

1. The rides of course. I love Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad, California Screamin, Soaring Over California, Grizzly Bear Run, Pirates, etc, etc, etc!

2. Being Emma's favoite!! She and I went on almost all the rides together. She was so brave and went on EVERYTHING!!! She was adorable and wanted all my attention, which I was happy to give!

3. Throwing up in the pool! Yep, I threw chunks all over the pool after Trevor and I got in a splashing war and he splashed me multiple times, causing my previous meal to come spuing our of my mouth and into the pool. Trevor got most of it out of the pool, but I did find a chunk in my swiming suit later!Yummy!!

4. Maycee yelling OH CRAP!!(Mind you she's 3!!) Then when we all looked at her and Trevor asked her WHAT? She hid her head and said very shyly, NEVERMIND.

5. My feet killing from not only walking all day, but from everyone deciding to WALK back to the hotel after the day!!

6. THE WHOLE TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it was loads of fun! Hopefully you enjoy the pictures!
