End of School

Robert's amazing kindergarten teacher. How did we get so lucky?

"I did it, Dad!"

Accepting his "diploma."

It's always a bitter-sweet time at the end of the school year. I'm so thankful that my kiddos had such fabulous teachers this year, and I hope for the same for next year. Here are a few pictures and such from their last days of school this year.

Here's Kate awaiting her big performance. Tried to upload a video of her singing...she's a little soprano, hilarious, but after 30 minutes of waiting for it to upload, I gave up.

It's been a while...like, a year.

Well, I'm not sure if I'll keep up with this blog thing...again. But we need a way to keep up with all we're doing this summer. I am convinced that neither my children or I will die of boredom this summer. So, we are having some themes each week to help keep us a little organized and busy. Don't get too excited about following this blog, because I am only doing it for my family's sake & our memories. Although I'm sure that my children and thier mischief will entertain you, we are not out to have the most popular site or show off anything we have or do. Just want you to know my intentions before you get reading!
BTW, this picture is at Robert's kinder graduation...I now have a 1st grader!!!

Then, off to the Mayes house for our annual trick-or-treating with the Neighbors. We have butterfly Kate, Princess Arpitha, Jerry the Robert, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Blair. The best part is when we throw confetti eggs into the ceiling fan! The kids love it! And I love that it's not in my house! Mayes family, y'all are the best!
Halloween night at a fall festival.

Underneath the hat...Trey's attempt at doing girl hair!

Our sweet little butterfly!

Our friends the Fergusons have a really fun annual Halloween party. It's lots of fun playing outside with friends and eating all the goodies that Mrs. Jaime bakes! Here's our Robert, aka Jerry the Mouse, and isn't Blair such a cute pink crayon!!!

The Pumpkin

Well, Kate wasn't too into the messy fun of carving out a pumpkin. She discovered this day that she should and could climb onto furniture. What fun! She hasn't stopped since. Robert, on the other hand, was very into it. He spent a lot of time drawing out designs on paper that he wanted Daddy to carve out.
And of course he enjoyed scooping out pumpkin guts!

Every year since Rober and Elizabeth were baby-babies, Rachel and I have taken them to the St. Richard's pumpkin patch for pictures and pumpkin picking. It's getting more and more fun with Hannah, Emma & Kate now! Here are this years pictures!

Kate-a-roo loves Rachel. She got really happy to see her as you can tell by her face!

Road trip

I believe this is from our trip to Matt's wedding. It gets tough when you don't remember to blog regularly. Kate loves Kaki!!!! We got to stay in Lake Whitney along the way!
We LOVE our friends Meggan and Trent. It was so much fun getting to hang out with them for the day. And since it was Friday (or any day ending in "day") we got to go with them to Joe T's for dinner. YUM!

We had to take a picture of the 3 of us with our blackberries. Meggan was the only one without one, so of course we jumped on the opportunity to have some fun with that. Meggs, your birthday is coming up in March. My fingers are crossed. Hold out for the pink one!

So October wasn't that long ago, right?

So, yes. I am officially the WORST blogger ever! I admit it! So I'm going to try to catch up from...October! These are a few pictures that our sweet friend Gina took for us. She loves photography as a hobby and wanted to practice taking pictures of kids. Boy did we give her some practice! Kate is not one for being still or held in one spot. I was impressed with what she got, especially considering how fun our kids were being! Thanks Gina! I think we got the best end of this deal!
