Day three consisted of SHAMU, and the rest of the animals at sea world.
Sydney watched the shamu video on you tube for about a month leading up to the special day so she knew exactly what was going to happen. she loved it.
she loves ALL sea animals as well, so it was beyond her wildest dreams to be there with
so many animals
the sharks, the dolphins, the turtles,the walrus, even the birds... it was amazing to her.
Sydney was able to feed the dolphins and pet them, and that was our main highlight
she loved the shows and
the rides at the sesame street park, I couldn't believe how brave she was
she loved the water fountains that she could play in
and of course all the treats
this is her bribe, i mean treat. literally at the very beginning of the day after 1 activity, but that held her for a long time she was running around everywhere with that little sucker
feeding and petting the dolphins, her nick name "little miss bossy" held true she told the trainer she wanted to touch the other one too, so the trainer very kindly had the dolphins switch places, so that she was able to pet both
funny moment #1 of the day... she didn't quite understand these fountains so she was kneeling down, looking directly into one of the water openings, just then {yes you can imagine} the water shot up and got her right in the face. I was trying to tell her, but it happened too fast
her little buddy for the entire vacation {her cousin Kennedy}
as we were strolling to another destination I could hear the two of them just having a full on conversation, sydney telling kennedy to 'look over there', a lot of 'what's'. 'HUH' 'yeahs' and giggles were exchanged, i couldn't hear the entire thing, but they sure seemed to know what was going on, so steve snuck in front to catch a photo and this is what we got. sydney was so animated about whatever they were discussing maybe it was about all the crazy outfits and fanny packs. seriously those still exist?
well we had another day which was spent at the most amazing children's museum, a little shopping and some lunch, but there are no photos to tag along so this is the end.
Over all it was an amazing vacation, we had a blast.
oh and the plane ride home was accompanied by a nice long nap for syd, she passed right out, until the very end when she woke up and heard a little girl talking about shamu and she shot right up and said "feed dolphins fishy"... what a nice note to end our vacation on, apparently she loved it as much as we did.
