Well! I did it again! 3 months has passed without an update! obviously i'm not so good about updating!!! we have been super busy doin our thing and trying to keep up with this little sass-a-frass! ha ha. i swear, the older she gets, the sassier she gets! she is seriously so fun! and so funny! she catches onto EVERYTHING we say or do! she started to sing the "hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dooooooog" song this week and it's seriously a crack up! cutest thing i've ever heard! :) she LOVES to play outside! she LOVES to ride daddy's "tractor" with him too! it never fails, EVERY time he gets the riding mower out she goes CRAZY! its so cute watching trav drive around the yard with her on his lap! we took her boating for the first time this year and she was in HEAVEN! she TOTALLY wanted to drive it with daddy! as you can see in the pics below, she was in HEAVEN! tay is doing awesome! we have been in a little "honeymoon" phase right now and we are loving it! we go to primary's on july 30th for another check up and ekg. not excited about this. :( i already know she is gonna FREAK and cry the whole time as they put all those STICKY stickers on her chest and belly and then have to rip them all off! torture for a little girl that's for sure! we are excited to enjoy our summer with camping, boating, and going to cherry hill! :) she is gonna LOVE it! :) 

well hello there friends! it's been a while since i last posted. and now I'm posting when i should be making dinner! whoops! :) any who! it's been a crazy busy summer that has already come and gone. and we are very sad. SO not ready for this hibernation to begin!!! i'm basically DREADING it!! definitely not excited about it that's for sure! we had a fun summer! just played outside as much as possible! went boating, played at cherry hill, swam at grammie's, all kinds of fun things! it's been SO nice to go outside and play! tay LOVES being outside! LOVES IT! we went to tay's cardio appointment in august and got the best news ever!!! :) "come back in six months!!!" woooo whoooo!!! she didn't even have an x-ray or echo! she is doing just awesome! we have been SO BLESSED!!! we got our family pics taken. tay was a BIG stinker but we got a couple good ones! :) here they are...

tay had MANY firsts this summer as well! she is getting SO big and is SO smart! she amazes me everyday!!! i can't believe my baby is already 1 1/2 years old!!! that is too big!!!

wow! this two blog thing is harder than i thought! obviously it's almost impossible for me to update both blogs! sorry!!! this year has come and gone SO FAST!! i can't believe it's already the middle of june!! ahh! crazy! me and trav celebrated our 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! i can't even believe it! it's gone by so fast! i love him more and more everyday! i don't know what i would do without him! he is such a hard worker. such an amazing husband! and dad? he takes that to a WHOLE different level!!! he is absolutely AMAZING!!!

so i never really have gotten into all the coupon cutting and craziness that comes along with it but lately i've found some CRAZY good deals that i couldn't pass up and i'm proud of them so i'm blogging about it. ha ha. pathetic. i know. :) oh well! so some of you know my kohls shopping experiences get a little out of control but when you get a WHOLE YEARS wardrobe for $60 bucks why would you pass it up?!?! :) so kohls come out with coupons on the newspaper that you can take $10 off of a $20 purchase. so i get a call from my mom in the wee hours of the morning telling me they are out. i hop in the car and go to everywhere i know that has them and buy the paper with the coupon. then i signed up for a kohls creditcard just to get an extra 30% off every purchase! which means....CRAZY GOOD DEALS!!! :) i am SO CHEAP so when a deal like this comes along you know i'm gonna be there! :) they probably have my picture in the break room telling everyone to look out for me cause you can only use one coupon per purchase, which is exactly what i do, but i go through every check out line! :) i'm smart. :) ha ha. so with our 23 coupons :D trav got some new work clothes! yay! of course i got some thing for taylee too! then i take all my reciepts back to customer service for them to add up to $50 which means i get $10 back in kohls cash which is free money!!! :) all this jibberish basically means....I GET A ROCKIN DEAL AT KOHLS!!! hahaha. here is what i got with my kohls cash/30% off and i only spent $10 bucks! :)

so there is a website that i absolutely LOVE!!!! it is www.freebies2deals.com. what they do is post crazy good deals on it ALL DAY LONG! which means i'm ALWAYS checking it to see what they have posted! they had posted that if you got the newspaper, it comes with different coupons. in this last set of coupons there was a $5.00 off similac coupon. i always buy my formula from sams so i told my mom i didn't want her coupon. then i saw on www.freebies2deals.com that you can use the coupon on any similac product! so told my mom i wanted the coupon and she went out to her neighbors and found me 6 MORE!!! so i used some on the already made formula that is $3.92 which means i got them for FREE!!!! why pass up FREE formula?!?! i'm pretty excited so i took a pic of what i bought at walmart for just 30 BUCKS! i also did some price matching to other stores which took off lots of money! yay! :)

i'm SUPER excited about this next deal i got!!! there was an AWESOME coupon that came out and my loving mom saved hers for me and also went to her neighbors/friends to get their coupons too!!! :) i know tay is turning 1 in two weeks but i'm kinda nervous to switch her to normal milk due to lack of nutrients. so i decided to use all 20 coupons and stock up on some more formula! i got 20 of these bad boys for $11!!!!!! wooooo!!!! this is my favorite deal by far! :) they are regularly $5.49 each!!

well, you probably already figured by the title but we went to the bon jovi concert! if you remember i surprised trav with tickets to go see him and he was so excited! march 22nd came WAY faster than expected of course! trav came home from work early...which pretty much NEVER happens! :) my awesome mom came down to watch tay for the night so we could enjoy a little date that was much needed. :) when trav got home we left and went to dinner in slc. EVERYWHERE was packed of course so we ate at gateway's food court. :) then we walked over to the energy solutions arena for the concert. on our way to salt lake we were talking about where our seats were. me being the CHEAP little bum i am got close to the cheapest seats that would still be "good seating" so i figured we'd be in a good spot. we got to our seats and i kid you not...i was all wobbly because we were so high and i'm so afraid of heights! ha ha ha. not to mention people around us had BINOCULARS so that they could see the stage! ha ha ha! so sad!!! i felt so bad that we were so high up! ha ha. so we went down to the ticket booth to see if there was any possibility we could upgrade our seats so that we could see him! ha ha ha! to our luck we could!!! we had the options of FLOOR SEATS or row 14. we picked row 14 in hopes that we would have a better view! and we TOTALLY DID!!! we got to our seats and i was wiggin out cause we were so close! ha ha ha. all in all we had a good time and fun date! :) i felt HORRIBLE because my poor mom was up until 12:00 waiting for us to get home so she could go home and go to bed to turn around and wake up at 6 to go to work. :( she's the best babysitter! and tay loves her so much! :) here are some pics from the night...

so my conclusion of trying to keep up two blogs...close to impossible! i usually update tay's blog before this one so if you are wanting updates more regularly than i'm giving on here check out tay's blog. www.tayleebug.blogspot.com :) any who! life is great! we went on our first family vacation to californ-i-a! :) it was so much fun to go and play for a whole week and put work and worries behind us. (for the most part at least!:) ) we still worried about all the germs at disneyland but got away from as much as possible and came home successful! :) it was mine and tay's first time to disneyland and it was so much fun! tay LOVED every minute of it and was SUCH a good girl the whole time we were gone! she is such a good baby!!! so here are some of the many pics that i took during our fun week. we had such a great time! :) tay will be one in a month and a half and i am shocked with how fast time has flown by! she is getting so big! she now kind of says dad which more sounds like "ta-ta" and she whispers it. it's so cute! and she also says "ma-ma-ma-ma-ma" when she is upset and wants to be held. :) i love it! she has one tooth on the bottom and is getting her second on the top on the opposite side of her bottom one. funny to me and trav cause we always joked that she would have "snaggle tooth" and now she does! ha ha ha. too funny. she is such a sweet"heart". :) every time you look at her and smile she smiles back. it never fails! she is SO ticklish! i can barely touch her love handles...yes she has them :) she gets them from her mom....and she will go crazy!!! i love to hear her sweet innocent laugh. we are SO BLESSED to have her in our little family and love her more and more every single day!!! :)

on a separate note: we are selling our house! yes we are sad to move but to be able to see daddy more we have decided to move closer to his work. we are going to try and sell our house on our own without listing it which i know is gonna be super tough but i'll keep my fingers crossed! if you know someone who is looking for a house in PERFECT condition please contact me!!!

on a totally different subject...i am now doing glitter toes! they are pretty much the big thing right now and they are super cute! for those of you who don't know what they are...they basically look like your toe nails are painted with glitter polish and last 4-6 weeks! pretty sweet if you ask me! i'm only charging 15 BUCKS right now which is a SUPER good deal compared to everyone else who does them so let me know if you are interested!!! let's get your toes nice and pretty for flip flop weather!!! :D

welp! january has come and gone.....FAST! but that's TOTALLY fine with us! we are SO READY for spring it's not even funny! we didn't really do much other than hibernate and we were sick. :( no fun that's for sure!!! hopefully we are on the road to getting better and not worse! we had a couple dr. appointments and we don't have to go back to primary's until AUGUST!!! what?! for real?! tay always seems to prove them all that she is a miracle! :) she is also no longer on any meds. other than 1/2 aspirin and her ammox(for no spleen). that is just amazing to me that she is taking just 1/2 aspirin for her heart when she just had open heart surgery 3 months ago! we are seriously SO BLESSED for how well she has recovered and how amazing she is doing! we tend to ask our cardiologist why/how she is doing so amazing with the way her heart is set up and he doesn't really have an answer for us! my opinion...this is the way that heavenly father has planned it to be. :) i get teary eyed just thinking about how blessed we are to have taylee in our lives and to have her growing and for her health and strength! she is definately proving to everyone that she's a fighter and that she IS and WILL beat many odds against her! here are a couple pics of her. she just cracks me up!

so funny story...my mom tends to get onto "the helmet kick" whenever she sees her grandbabies growing into their heads. what is "the helmet kick" you ask? let me explain...with every grandchild of hers she SWEARS that their heads are mis-shapen and that they HAVE to wear a helmet and get it on before it's too late! so after talking to my doctor (already knowing that she wouldn't need a helmet) he gave me a paper to give to her that shows heads that are in need of a helmet. ever since i gave her the paper she hasn't said a word about it since! haha. any who...i was playing with taylee one day and decided to put this toy on her head to see what she would look like if she did need a helmet. surprisingly enough it fit PERFECTLY! ha ha ha. it definately made for a good laugh! :)

my brother came home from his mission on feb 1st and that was fun! he finally got to meet tay! :) it was so fun to see him again! he came home to TWO new sister-in-laws who he'd never met before he left, a new niece (tay), and a sister who is due in april(on tay's birthday)! fyi...no...that sister is not me! :)

so cute! :) look at that little butterball! hahaha.

wow! i can't believe it's already 2011!!! time flies when you're havin' fun right?! :) well we laid low this new years eve and me and trav stayed home and hung out. which was much needed since he's so busy with work i feel like i never get to see him! any who! we stayed home and watched a couple different new years programs on tv and celebrated with some delicious pistachios! haha. this is the only pic i have from the night but we had fun! we stayed up until 11:30 then went to bed. who does that?!?! hahaha. we did! :) oh well!
