so...as some of you know, my birthday was on saturday! yay! happy birthday to ME!!! :) any who....i hate to brag but i can't not brag about what my amazing hubby and family got me for my birthday!!! :) we went to trav's parent's house for dinner and it was delicious and way fun!!! :) about my birthday....i'm not gonna lie but i was very surprised with trav's creativity! he did SUCH a good job at surprising me for my birthday this year! :) funny story...i've had my digital camera for a good five years and it's getting G-HETTO! ha ha ha! when you turn it on the screen is all blurry and you have to hit the camera against your hand a couple times for the screen to appear. ha ha ha! pretty ghetto if you ask me! :) so trav surprised me with a NEW DIGITAL CAMERA!!!!! :) it's the new nikon coolpix camera and i LOVE it!!! here's a little pic of it...

so i was just so happy after i got it i didn't even want to open anything else!!!ha ha ha! then he had his sister copy all of her digital scrapbooking discs for me to have so that i could start doing all my scrapbooking on the computer! i am SO excited!!!! he did an awesome job!!! :)

my parents,in-laws, and jen and derek got me gift cards to tai pan which is pretty much my favorite place to shop!!!! i absolutely LOVE that store!!!! my brothers and grandparents all gave me money so that i could go buy some new clothes!!! YAY! it's about time i get rid of some of my clothes from high school!!! ha ha ha ha!

i pretty much love peanut m & m's! :)so this year, when it comes to my birthday, it was by FAR the best birthday EVER!!!:D

it's been a while since i last posted so i thought i'd post a little somethin', somethin'! well, thanksgiving was great! we had delicious food at both of our parent's houses and i pretty much am still fat from it. ha ha ha! oh well! i had saturday off so i decided to pull out the tree and put it up. so.....i pulled the tree out and began to put it together and as i was doing that i just sat and laughed at it. it's pretty much a midget tree! my sister-in-law told me she had one of the sections to the tree and that she'd find it and bring it down. well, after looking, she couldn't figure out which piece was missing so she told me to take a pic of the tree and send it to her. i did just that and got a phone call from her laughing her HEAD off as she said.....shae, you're tree S-U-C-K-S!!! ha ha ha ha! i laughed with her and agreed. hey! it was free and it looked perfect in our town home last year! so she told me that she would give me her old tree cause it was too big for her house. so they brought it down to me. so after jimmy-riggin' some of the branches onto the tree, i plugged all my lights together, plugged them in, and began to put them on the tree. i finished a while later and began to put the rest of the decorations on the tree. i also decorated my mantle, "the hole" (for those of you who don't know.....i have a hole above my fireplace/mantle that is RIDICULOUS to decorate), my railings and the tree...obviously!!! so after decorating ALL!!! DAY!!! LONG!!!.....around MIDNIGHT, i sat on the couch and watched tv with trav for a minute. i looked over at the tree and saw that H-A-L-F of the stupid thing was no longer LIT!!!! i was FUMING!!!! trav just laughed at me cause of how mad i was over something so little. so the next day i had to take half the tree apart to figure out which stupid light strand was out. after finding the "DUD", i put the lights BACK onto the tree as well as everything else!!!! talk about christmas tree from you-know-where!!!!! ....no offense jen...! i love the tree now! :) any who. my house is finally decorated and i love it! :) i absolutely LOVE christmas time!!! :) well.....here are a couple pics of my decorated house....
