Friday was a BAD DAY!! It never fails that when I get a break the next day is the worst. Thursday evening my sister and I went to dinner and got our nails done(that is my biggest vanity thing I like to do). We had a great time and I was lovin' life. Then Friday hit...Christian was under my feet ALL DAY and would not let me get anything done. His favorite questions these days are: "Mommy, what you doin'? and Mommy, what you got?" After hearing that for the twentieth time and having him underfoot "helping" me vaccum, I was about to lose it. Baylor was fussy b/c she is still stuffy and just not her happy self. I was trying to do laudry and clean two levels of our three level home. On one hand I thank God for providing such bleesings, but on the other hand they can be pains. I was frustrated and literally crying out to God for patience. I finally got Christian down at 2pm and was able to eat lunch at 2:30--had both kids down at @ 3:30 or 4. Any rest for the weary? No, that was when Iwas finally able to get a few things done in peace. Needless to say, Jeff had recieved an earful that afternoon on the phone and was prepared to wisk me away to an exciting family night at the mall. It really was the best part of my day and we all were able to regroup a little bit. I feel like Satan comes after me when I feel energized from a little "me time"...it's like he says "you think you can handle this? well let me make it a little harder on you!" I felt like I was at the end of my rope, but the Lord provided some peace(as always) and came to the rescue(as always) through my sweet wonderful husband.
Now it is Sunday night. My parents are here for the night checking up on their house and we all shared a yummy dinner compliments of Jeff's grilling and a few sides I prepared(with a little help from PUBLIX). All my friends are laughing b/c they think I can't cook anything on my own, but I just choose to make it easier by using what others prepare for me:) We had a wonderful, but busy weekend catching up with old friends at a wedding and had dinner with Nana, Papa and Uncle Jeremy on Saturday night. Our kids will be even more spoiled once both grandparents are within a 30 mile radius.
My sweet boy wants to say Night Night so I have to go.

update
Christian has a random ear infection--no fever or cold until two days later and now sister is all snotty too:( I hope hers doesn't turn into an ear infection. We have gone peepee a few more times, but now we won't try poopy...don't know why. Jeff's job is going well--it is slow going since everyone is still fiquring out exactly what he needs to do. Mim is leaving us at the end of the week. We are so sad even though her and Travis will visit in 2 weeks to do wedding stuff and attend the big 3 year olds party. Baylor is screaming in my ear for her bottle so off I go.

We went Potty
On Thursday morning before school our BIG BOY went potty for the first time!! He went poopy and we were so proud of him. He got to put a rock in his jar and when his jar is full he'll get Annie and Clarabel. Those are Thomas' coaches and we can't wait to give them to him!! We are waiting for our next successful trip to the potty...we'll keep you updated.

More Beach Pics

We all had fun during this little photo session. I love the one of Baylor and Daddy---so in love. Mommy and Daddy kinda like each other too. Mim loves her kids and she captured the precious close up of Baylor.

Trip to Beach

Mim made me a tent to sleep under.
I moved before the picture was done, but I'm so cute in my two-piece:)

We had a great time in Destin. You can see our little beach bums playing in the sand. Christian had fun, but needed a playmate--Baylor will be big enough next year. She looked beautiful in her bathing suits and cute hats. Christian still doesn't like the ocean, but LOVED the pool. He did really well with his swimmies. We won't be compeating for any Olympic medals anytime soon, but he hold his own. It was so nice to get away and not have to worry about stuff. Jeff especially enjoyed himself because this was his first vacation in 8 years where he had no work to think about--not even a laptop to bring along. He turned in everything to E&Y the Monday before we left and was free!! Mim was lots of fun too. We like having her with us to hang out--we only made her babysit one afternoon and she and I got to hang out on our own too. She is so smart too!! She came up with Baylor's little nap tent at the pool. What would we do w/o her?
The ride down there was wonderful, both kids did great. The ride home was horrible--Baylor was not happy. We stopped 4 times and still never really solved anything. Poor Mim sang to her for an hour and tried everything else she could think of. Mim won't be volunteering for more roadtrips anytime soon. We finally made it home 10hrs later and we all fell into bed.

Way Behind
We are so way behind...we've been to the beach, Jeff has started his new job and school is almost over!! I promise we will get back to this soon. We'll post pics and stories from the beach and be on the look out for birthday stuff coming soon. Christian will turn 3 on June 9--where does the time go? Baylor is 4 months and the cutest little chunk. She weighs 15 1/2lbs and is 24 1/2in long AND has rolled over!! She likes the johnny jumper thing that hangs from the door. In the 2 days she has played in it she has already jumped more than Christian ever did...I think she feels more apart of the action being upright with the rest of us. Mim is living with us and we have fun even though our schedules are opposite--we love you Mim. Like I said I promise new stuff is coming.
