Bye Bye paci!
Claire has had a serious pacifier addiction since she was born. I mean a really serious addiction! We have been trying to wean her off of it for some time but not sure how we'd get her to totally stop using it. The other day she had one she thought was her last one and she bit it into two pieces. Finally a way to get her to break that bad habit!
She did surprisingly great the first night without it. I thought for sure she'd cry and cry and never go to sleep but not one little tear from her. I was very proud!
The paci fairy had very little notice that she needed to come bring Claire a present for giving up her paci and becoming a big girl but luckily the paci fairy had something she could bring.
The Princess and the Frog movie and M&M's. Claire was much more excited by the M&M's because she rarely gets candy. The next day I took her to Target to pick out something special too and she picked out a big Tigger.

Two and a half
Our littlest one turns two and a half today
At two and a half Claire Avery:
*knows many colors
*knows many shapes
*loves puzzles
*can sing her abc's
*can count to 14
*has great problem solving skills
*is potty trained
*gets herself dressed, even shoes and socks
*loves dresses and skirts, especially tutu's
*eats just about anything, loves food!
*weighs 30 pounds, 36.5 in tall
*still loves her paci
*very independent
*tries to do anything her siblings do

Mustache March
Anthony participated in his work's "Mustache March" again this year. He grew a mustache in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society. He made his goal again this year thanks to those that generously donated. We attended a Blazer basketball game with 60 of his coworkers and their family members where they also had a booth set up to shave the 'staches. It was a fun night!

March snow!
We had itsy bitsy amount of snow fall on March 1st. It wasn't even enough to give the kids a snow day from school but that didn't stop them from playing in it before they got on the bus. Gunnar even had a great time playing in the snow! The best part was it was all melted before noon and it was sunny again!
