Elder Frei has the sweetest mission president in the whole world.

We took Jordan and his companion out to breakfast while we were in California.
It was legal(but not according to the missionary handbook).
Apparently Jordan's mission president is super California chill.
And he told my dad that Jordan is the greatest missionary.
We love this mission president very very much.
We love Jordan very very very much.

P.S. The usual missionary attire was abandoned because they would be helping an investigator family move after our little breakfast.
P.P.S. Steve Carrell has been spotted at this breakfast joint on Ventura Blvd.

Disneyland Day 1

Okay, so most of these pictures look like they could have been taken anywhere. I am not the kind of person who thinks to find a princess or Mickey Mouse and stick my kids in front of them for a picture. Yes, I do realize that makes me a bad mother. The least I could have done was get a picture of us in front of the castle. Anyway, here are a billion pictures, because that's the way I roll. Disneyland was super crowded, but we hardly ever waited in line thanks to Craig's great knowledge of fast passes and baby swaps.

If you look in the background you will see Cinderella. Proof that this really was Disneyland.

Taken in front of the Tower of Terror. We used the baby swap thing here. It was wonderful.

Jungle Book Treehouse.

I hate it when I'm the one that spoils the family photo, and I usually am (although Tessa messed it up a bit too by trying to stare at Mr. Potato Head). I still had to put this picture in because we LOVED this ride. It was saweeet!

Look at me taking pictures with Disneyland (actually California Adventure) props.

One of the longest waits was for this classic ride. Max really liked it though. He loves being an astronaut (when he's not a Jedi knight, a pirate, or a ninja warrior). Flying on a rocket ship was a dream come true.

Waiting, waiting, waiting for Max to fly on the rocket ships.

Tanner and Maddi were super excited to "hop on over" and go on the Winnie-the-Pooh ride with me and Max.

Cali Day 1

Ty and I drove to California on a whopping two hours of sleep. We dropped our stuff at the hotel (after lunch at P.F. Chang's, of course) and headed to the beach. Slightly cold, but this would prove to be the best we would get.

Snot and sand, gotta love that combination.

Oh, happiness!

Yes, our sunglasses are pushed unnaturally high by our cheeks when we smile. Even Tessa thinks it looks a little weird.

Sunglass trauma, but Maddi and Tessa are still pretty cute.

Either Maddi and I have misshapen faces or you cannot smile in this style of sunglasses.

Dune

Oh, the Great Outdoors is something we definitely miss living here in Dallas. While in St. George we had to visit the magical White Sand Dune.

It's amazing how things shrink as you get older. This hill used to be as big as it gets.

I can't believe how short Tessa's hair was in this picture. Her hair has really gone through a growth spurt. Her body, however, has not.

Ty proposed to me somewhere up there.

Hey Max and Tessa, they are doing this thing called "eating". You two should try it out sometime.

Rock Band

Max had lots of fun partying with his cousins while in Utah. Notice that Mason and Lincoln are missing their shirts in true rocker fashion. Lincoln really has some skills on the drums.

Until then...

Eventually I will post pictures of the Happiest Place on Earth, but until then I think it is best to take away my tragic running tights picture. So without further ado, I present to you quite possibly the coolest picture I will ever take.

P.S. I don't mean "cool" as in a technically good picture. I think it's mostly his eyes that are so sweet, he was definitely off somewhere in his imagination.
