Christmas
We had a very interesting Christmas this year. It's the first one without my mom which was of course hard, we started out by having Christmas Eve dinner at my house with all of Ty's and my families ( I know I'm crazy), but its a tradition that I started and we both get to be with our families and not have to trade off so it works and the cousins get to exchange gifts. Then the next morning we did the Santa thing and went to the cemetery and opened the presents at my dads house. After that we did Christmas dinner with my family and decided to go to the movie. So me, Tyler, my Dad, Nick, Whitnee, & Jadeth went to the movie. We left the kids with Tylers parents. We went to Yes Man it was hilarious I recommend it to anyone, so funny! On our way home it was snowing and freezing cold outside I really didn't think anything of it. We get almost home and me and Tyler are looking around and thinking all the houses look kinda dark, come to find out our power had been out for an hour and our kids had been in the dark. Good thing for portable DVD players and candles. So we spent the rest of our Christmas night in the dark watching Star Wars clone wars on a 7 inch TV ( I know all of you are jealous) On Saturday we went up to my Grandmas house and had a dinner with all of my dads family and went sledding it was a lot of fun. My kids got to open more presents at her house. My kids got to open presents four different times the spoiled little brats! Anyways I hope you all had a GREAT CHRISTMAS with lights!

My Mom's Birthday

My bro Nick (who looks like the unibomber in this pic), My Dad, Me, Whitnee, & Jax
My DadOn December 18th my mom would have turned 53 years old if she would have lived 2 weeks and 2 days longer. I'm a little late getting this post on here, I've had some USB cord issues (like I lost mine & then I lost Tylers and keep forgetting to steal my dads from him) anyways we went out to the cemetery and put balloons on her grave we tried to put a flower arrangement on there that my sister made but there was about 3 feet of snow and more coming so we saved it for Christmas! I'm surprised we even found the right grave the snowdrifts were huge and she is right on a corner. This weather has been crazy and its snowing right now too! We were out there forever waiting for my brother to show up and my dad made the comment " You know your mom wouldn't have stood out here in the snow and froze no matter whose birthday it was" Isn't that the truth, apparently she was smarter than the rest of us & hated being cold! I hope they celebrate birthdays in heaven and I hope she celebrated with her parents for the first time in a long time! I'm glad her last birthday and Christmas with us were good ones and she was healthy and happy. Especially since the rest of the holidays in 2008 sucked, there's always next year.

All I Want For Christmas Is My 2 Front Teeth

Karsten lost his very first tooth on Tuesday and he was so excited that the the tooth fairy was going to come and bring him money. Well the next morning he was really dissapointed when there was nothing under his pillow. I ended up telling him the tooth fairy was too busy the night before and would for sure get to him the next night. Poor kid the tooth fairy is kinda brain dead at our house lately!Saturday, December 6, 2008

For Time and All Eternity
On Saturday my mom and dad were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity, it was an awesome experience and I am so glad I was able to be there and be sealed to them! It was really hard for my mom to be there because it exhausted her and she had to stay in the wheelchair the whole time but I am glad she is a fighter and made the sacrifice. Her health is declining really fast and we don't know how much longer she will be with us so I am glad this day came and we have an eternal family. I feel truly blessed for all I have and for the blessings of the temple.
