This video is of Dylan dunking the fire Marshall into the tank he was really impressed with himself!

Last week the fire dept sponsored a family night for all the firefighters families. It was tons of fun. They had dinner for us then one of the families donated a car for them to show us how they do extrication out on a wreck. It was pretty cool, except the whole time I'm thinking to myself I hope that's never me inside the car. It seemed like it took awhile to get the car completely apart, but if you were inside it would feel like an eternity. Then they had lots of fun things for the kids to do, they were going through the life safety house, and had an obstacle course where if they finished they got a fire water bottle or a Frisbee, and a dunk tank which my kids loved. By the end of the night Karsten and Dylan were freezing from being dunked into the freezing water. Everybody wanted the fire chief to get dunked but he wasn't about to let that happen. It was a fun night, Thanks for the pictures Jenny:)

On Friday my sister Whitnee got married in my backyard. We really lucked out because it was a beautiful day, unlike those before and after. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so glad it is over with it has been really stressful getting my yard and everything else ready. Luckily my aunt is a caterer and does weddings all the time, so she was a lifesaver! Whitnee was a beautiful bride and looked gorgeous as always.

Mt.West Baseball/ Red Devils Soccer

Finding shelter from the rain

Bronze metal ceremony!

Dylan & Tyrel

Dylan has been a very busy boy this last week, he played summer games soccer and had baseball playoffs all within four days. His soccer team did very well taking the bronze metal, especially for a team that hadn't played together before. It was a lot of fun watching his games they are very intense, and it is very nerve racking for me I guess because I'm competitive and I really want them to win. During his last game on Saturday for the bronze it poured on us and was freezing, but they just kept playing even into overtime because of a tie. It was lots of fun and hopefully we will do it again next year.

Dylan up to bat

Playing 2nd base

I thought this pic was cool with Dylan saying the pledge(he's #11)
Little League Baseball is over for the year which makes me sad because it's so much fun to watch! Mt. West (Dylan's team) took sixth place for the season. I think I will really miss going to the games, baseball has dominated our lives since April. It really is amazing how good the boys are for being only 10 years old and younger!

Ouch!

Tonight at baseball Karsten took a baseball bat to the head, a little boy on his team was warming up and Karsten stood up behind him. Luckily I didn't see it but just seconds later his head looked like this. He was tough though he wanted to stay and keep on playing. He even got a really good hit after this happened! Poor kid was trying so hard not to cry but once we got in the car after the game he started crying and was telling me how bad it hurt. I think I would have cried way before then. A lot of ice and some tylenol and he'll be right back at 'em. Who knew coach pitch could be so dangerous.
