Dylan

Football in December??? Oh yes! Dylan played in the Ice Bowl on Saturday at SUU. He played starting defense, kick off and return team. It was fun and it wasn't even that cold. It was the SUYFA all-stars (Canyon View & Cedar boys) vs. Simi Valley Vikings. Dylan's team didn't win but that's ok he was just happy to still be playing football in December. The other team comes from California and they were so nice and so excited to see the snow! They were loving having snow ball fights, it was pretty funny watching them. They gave our team beanies with the teams name on it and our team was so excited about them. We had a great time. I love watching my boys play sports. I truly feel it's one of the greatest blessings I have... to be able to spend time with them, watching them do what they love:)

Little Red Riding Hood doesn't like the wolf!

With the pumpkins they carved.

We sure had a fun & cold Halloween this year. It was nice because it was more laid back than recent years. Dylan went trick or treating with his friends because are not cool enough anymore. He was an old lady it was pretty funny. I got tons of comments about how he pretty he was HaHaHa! Karsten was a werewolf and Jaxon was Iron Man. We didn't plan it but Dylan was the Gma, Karsten the wolf, and Jade Little Red Riding Hood! My sister Whitnee & Jade started out with me taking the kids around the neighborhood then decided it was too cold for her and Jade so Tyler finished with me. We went to Grandmas after, then called it a night. I needed another week to get ready for Halloween but it came anyways! My kids have so much going on it was crazy. Karsten had a Halloween party for scouts, Dylan had one at school plus he had a rewards trip at school for getting strait A's! YAY! Its was a crazy week. Throw in Jaxons Halloween party and football practice for Dylan (their still #1), and mutual for me & Ty! CRAZINESS! We dressed up for mutual on Wednesday to collect pennies by the inch for Primary Children's Hospital then had a carnival at the church. I was Cleopatra and he was a Gangster. Its the first time he's dressed up since I've known him. I was proud of myself for getting him to do it. Plus we went to Thriller at Tuachan on Tuesday..it was awesome that's our fourth time going and it never gets old...LOVE IT. I hope you all had a great Halloween also:)

What A Slacker

What a slacker I am I can't believe it's been so long since my last post. Well first things first...Jaxon started pre-school and loves it. I accidentally deleted the pic of him & his teacher so this one will have to do. Second Dylan's football season is in full swing and they had their first game on Saturday and won against Cedar!!! Yay. He is a wide receiver and he loves playing tackle and I think it's the pads and hitting he loves the most. He made a great tackle on Saturday. So go CV 6th grade Football! Along with that Karsten and Jaxon are both in the middle of their soccer seasons and doing great. Karsten is a forward on his team and is so fast, he does great! And Jax...oh that boy makes me laugh, he by far is the most aggressive of my boys. He goes out there and goes after that ball, it's so funny watching the 4 year olds play. They move in a little huddle and they look like their in their PJs because their uniforms drown them, it's so cute. He usually scores at least once every game if not more and we all hear about it for a week till the next game. Karsten is also playing flag football and loves being with his friends, he really wanted to play tackle but I didn't want to spend $260 for tackle for both boys to play so oh well maybe next year. Above all that me and Tyler are playing co-ed softball again and love it. So far this season we've won two out of three! And Third I'm working again! I got a job again working for the school district being a bus aide for special needs kids. I did this for the first 4 1/2 years of our marriage. I only quit because it was too hard with babies. Now that my kids are older I figured it was time to get a job while it was available. It feels like I never left. I love my job and I love the kids...but the one little kindergartner that's in a wheelchair I have has a DNR ( do not resuscitate order) on him, and it's causing me some major anxiety and stress. Whenever he makes a sound or coughs I panic he's so dang cute and he's only on the bus for about ten minutes from his house to the school, but I definitely don't want anything to happen on the bus. I watch him like a hawk. So between 1 house, 2 jobs, 3 kids, 1 husband, 5 sports and YW I don't get very bored. So hopefully next time it won't be almost a month before I update my blog again:)

my brother Nick playing in the fire

This year for some reason we've waited until the end of summer to head up the mountain. The last two weekends we finally got some fishing and picnicing in! The first weekend we went to Cedar campground and had a picnic, hiked, and my kids played catch. This last weekend we went to Duck Creek where it ended up being packed so we ended up going farther to mirror lake and fished. It was quite windy and chilly but my kids didn't seem to mind.
