This year Christmas came so fast it made my head spin. But we still had fun celebrating, and it was so nice to have two weeks off of work. we stayed up way too late and got up even later!! We started the celebration by having the annual Christmas Eve dinner at our house. Both sides of the family come over and eat, exchange presents, and enjoy each others company. After dinner we head to the cemetery to light a candle on my moms grave. Its amazing to see all the graves lit up. I wish I would've taken my camera, its quite the sight. Christmas morning came and went in a mess of wrapping paper, boxes and presents everywhere. Some of the major gifts my boys received are a wii for all of them from Santa and...Dylan: who really wanted a cell phone but didn't get one got ( we made a deal he keeps a 4.0 in school til next Christmas he gets a cell phone so we'll see) ...Boston redsox sign, clothes (no pants of course) , shoes, coat, books, and a rugby ball. Karsten: air soft gun, clothes, coat, books, and wii games. Jaxon: Lego's, mitt, baseballs, bat, bases, wii game, clothes, books, and boardgames. We went to my dads house after to see what Santa brought Jade. She sure was fun to watch. She wanted nothing to do with opening she just wanted to play with what she already had unwrapped.. pretty funny! We headed to my Grandmas for Christmas dinner later that day, and ended up playing just dance on the wii at my aunts house. It was quite the workout, or else I'm just really out of shape. We even got Tyler to get up and play with Nick and my other boy cousins. Hysterical!! Overall a pretty good time, I'm just so thankful for the gospel and why we celebrate Christmas.
