Celebrating their birthdays together

His 2nd place trophy for Basketball

Dylan turned 13 years old a few days ago and all I can think is wow, where has the time gone? He is such a huge blessing in my life, as with all my boys. He is such a good example to his brothers and everyone around him. As of his SEOP with his teacher yesterday he has a 4.0 GPA which he almost always maintains with out any nagging from me. He is such a smarty pants (I don't know where he gets it) He also love sports especially basketball. His team for Jr. Jazz took 2nd place out of all the teams, they were so fun to watch. There are some very talented kids in this town I do have to say. He made the border league team for basketball so now he gets to travel and play other schools in the region. He also loves tackle football. Hanging out with his friends, they do so much fun stuff together. They always have the funniest stories to tell. He has chosen some great friends with such good standards. Just 2 weekends ago he came home from a party (with make-up on)where the girls made over the boys to look like girls and had a fashion show. Dylan won for best looking girl haha! He is obsessed with sports any kind any where. He wakes up a half hour early everyday for school just so he can watch sports center. His favorite teams are The Colts, Boston Red Sox, The Utah Jazz, Real, and BYU. He is a great leader and friend in his scout group and at young men's. His goal in life is to play in the NBA. His other goal is to eat me out of house and home, and he is succeeding at it too. He has about 6 full meals a day not including snacks and is still hungry. He has a million nicknames but the ones that have stuck are: Dee Layne, Uncle Willy, Fuzzy, and Rooster, people at my work really think that Willy is his name because that's what all his friends call him on the bus on the way to school lol. I don't know what I did to deserve such a good kid but I've sure got one! We truly have grown up together and made it. I'm glad he's my guinea pig at parenting. Happy Birthday Dylan.
