Well here is a little bit of our little miss Maylee!! I can not believe she is already 10 days old:( I hate how fast time goes. It seems like i just had my Daxman and now i am holding my baby girl and Dax is almost 3. It kills me! Just a short version of the whole process of getting Maylee here. I woke up around 2 am on May 18th having some contractions about every 6-10 minutes so not to close but they sure did hurt. So i just went out on the couch to watch them and see what i was going to do. So after laying there till 5:30 i finally went and woke up Tyson and told him it was probably time to go.. Kaldyr was coming at 6 and we called my little sister to come sit with the boys so we got things put together and headed off. we got to the hospital around 7am and got checked in and i was only at a 4 and by this time i was so ready for my epidural i couldnt stand it.. We finally got in our room about 9:30 (Lots of babies decided to come this day so it took forever. Must of been the big storm we had) and i couldnt get my epidural for about another half hour 45 minutes because he was in with a C section. I finally got that and was a happy camper:) Dr silver who did my epidural was AMAZING!! Anyway my fabulous nurse checked me at 10:30 and was only a 4+ Wow this was going to be a long day. Oh ya and to top it off my Dr was at a track meet that day so i got to have an on call Dr deliver so i was really nervous. But found out it was Dr Bierer and i have heard such GOOD things about him so that made it alittle better. So she checked me again about 11:30 i was at a 6 and noticed my water had broke and there was also blood in the fluid..NOT GOOD! she didnt say much just told us and she also noticed that the baby's heart rate kept dropping also NOT GOOD. She called the Dr and he said he was on his way this baby needed to get here ASAP. He wanted a heart monitor on the baby's head so when she did that about 10 min later i was already a 7 and he called back about 5 min later and wanted a internal monitor for my contractions and when she did that i was at an 8 and Dr Bierer got there about 11:45 and i was complete and ready to get Maylee here. I pushed about 10 minutes the only other thing was the cord was wrapped around her little neck twice and Tyson said she was so purple and at 12:01pm our sweet little Maylee was born!! Her labor was completely different from Daxon's. I actually got to have her put right on my chest when she was born and Tyson got to cut her cord. She was so Beautiful and perfect. I can not even believe how blessed we were with this labor. The blessings just kept coming. After everything settle down we asked the nurse kinda how scary was it with the blood and everything cause all she told us was she needed to get here ASAP. and she said they had the cart out in the hall and she had stuff in her pocket ready to do an emergency C Section. My placenta was pulling away from the uterus which was making her heart rate go down from less oxygen. So such a blessing i dilated from a 6 to delivering in a half hour not very common. I love my Dr but it was a blessing to have Dr Bierer deliver and he also said he hit EVERY green light on the way which he never does:) We are so blessing not only with that but to finally have our baby girl here. She has been such a sweet baby in our home we couldnt ask for anything better. Sorry so much for a short version.
