back for a moment

I'm sorry if you have visited few times and keep seeing the same thing for weeks. The last time I checked, at least 8-20 beautiful people came to this blog regularly and my apology to all of you, whoever you are. I know that my blog is not readworthy and I wrote nothing but some crappy pieces, so thank you for just being patient enough to spend your precious few minutes (or seconds) over here.

So what happened in the last few weeks? Work, work and work, eat and sleep. Oh, and a karaoke session two nites ago. No, not in any karaoke lounge, it was in my flatmate's bedroom with sing-along lyrics on youtube. Hahaha... we did some rendition of rock kapak, some mellow tangkap leleh rock and PuppetMaster requested for some dangdut. I never knew that belting some MasId@yu's senggol senggolan could be sooo fun and ronggeng along I did. I usually claim I don't listen to dangdut but seriously doing something out of your ordinary is helluvaswell fun!! Bak kata Baz Luhrmann, Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room. We had a good time laughing at ourselves. Therapeutic. Really. I walked out of the room when they started singing 'bola-bola api'. *rotfl*

Oh by the way, do you remember that 90's toy-boy-look-trio called lmpressi0n (though they were not impressive enough)? One of the guys (who is still in the acting limelight and no longer have that toy-boy look) is here around my campus & flats shooting for a malay soap. The actresses I belom penah tengok berlakon. No, I did not barge to say hi, menyombongkah saya? No. Akak busy, tak sempat nak beramah mesra dik. Cepat aje tutup curtain when they shoot in front of our flat. Ye lah, dah penat diorang perabis duit nak shooting tempat omputeh, background omputeh, sekali kalau ada masuk background I yang pakai tudung and very the melayu look, kang korang ingat diorg shoot kat Kg New Zelen, Pahang pulak, tak gitu?

I received news of TokSu's passing 2 weeks ago. *AlFatihah*. I did not get to say a proper goodbye to her the last time I went home. I have this habit of not 'digesting' news of death until I get to the place where I should be seeing them. The last time when I went home (that's more than a year ago), I bought some kueh at a stall and told my mom that I wanted to send some to TukDa. Mom gave me a puzzled look and said "TukDa passed away 4 months ago. I've told you that, didn't I?". I sat in silence. Yes, Mak did gave me the news on the phone and I shelved it at the back of my mind. I only came to term with reality when I saw his house, looking at the stairs where he used to sit in the evening. It was empty. Now with TokSu, wait till I get home.

The title up there should speak for itself. I don't know when will be the next update. Insya-Allah if I panjang umur, I'm going for a short break from work towards the end of next week and probably do another jump in a totally different setting (read: I may chicken out!). I wanted to do this at first but if you notice the requirement, the minimum weight is 45kg. Thanks to a diarrhea session last week (urghh!!), my weight suddenly zoomed down below that minimum level. That should be a good excuse for me to stuff myself silly and eat like there's no tomorrow, kan? I wish I can also do rafting (in Malaya I did once here), paraglide & skydive. I want to do everything but I just don't have the money. Ada mana-mana 'bapak gula' nak sponsor?

Lagi satu.. I caught the mellow folk indie song bug. Any singer will do, known or unknown. I just can't get enough of acoustic songs with beautiful lyrics. I leave you with this.

If you be my star
I'll be your sky
you can hide underneath me and come out at night
when I turn jet black and you show off your light
I live to let you shine
I live to let you shine
but you can skyrocket away from me
and never come back if you find another galaxy
far from here with more room to fly
just leave me your stardust to remember you by...

...and no month shall pass without the moon...
