Christian's first day of kindergarten

It was pretty exciting to see my first boy go off to school.

He was definitely excited to go.

Eddie and I recently went to our first Parent Teacher Conference. I have to say I am one very proud Mom!!! Christian is so smart! I have always known that he is a super smart boy but it is always nice to hear that from others. His teacher said that he is such a sweet boy who is always smiling, he has lots of friends, and is very well adjusted to life. Coloring isn't his favorite, he likes to rush through that part of the day...what can I really expect though? He is such a boy!!! She also said that he is reading really good; he'll be at an advanced 1st grade reading level, if not a 2nd reading level by the time he graduates preschool. We are sooo proud!!!

Christian informed me that he colored a "black-widow-monarch-butterfly". I guess there is a new breed of butterflies?

He is so bright, full of energy and personality. I honestly cannot get enough of my sweet boys!

It's always so crazy how fast time really does fly. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was bringing this sweet little boy home from the hospital, and now he is 2!

When I took him in for his 2 year old doctor visit the other day, the nurse measured him and said, "Wow! You're the size of an average 3 year old." I have always known Hayden is one big, strong boy...but really the size of the average 3 year old?!? As soon as I got home I found Christian's information from his 3 year old doctor visit. I know Christian has always been right in the middle of the charts for height and weight, so I thought I would compare. Sure enough Hayden is only 1/4 inch shorter, and 2lbs. lighter now at 2, than Christian was at 3!

For Hayden Lincoln's 2nd birthday we went over to my mom's house for our 2nd annual Lincoln birthday party. It was so much fun! My whole family was there. We played games, laughed, and had an amazing time. Thank you so much mom!!!

Everyone tells us that Hayden looks a bit more like Eddie, and that Christian looks more like me. I thought I'd put our pictures in the "look-alike Meter" and see...

kind of crazy...
