The Tale of The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew

It has been pretty cold in Iowa and we have had to stay in our apartment a lot. Sometimes during these times I start wishing I was somewhere that I have once been. I really wish I was on the beach in Cancun, Mexico ( The top picture is of the beach in Cancun), the bottom picture is of Aguas Azules in Chiapas, Mexico. The waterfalls are so beautiful. Or visiting my Mom's family in Chiapas, Mexico. Mexico is so fun because you will hear music all of the time and the food is so good. I put a picture of my Mama Nelda(my Mom's Mom) on our blog so that you could see that she is 85 Years old and still dancing. We spent Christmas with her in Chiapas last year. Justin also got a picture with Mama Nelda and Carolina (one of the little girls in my aunts orphanage), and Elise who wasn't so happy. Well this was my mind wandering but just wanted to let you see some of the pretty places out there. Hopefully, Winter will be over soon.

Dallin celebrated his 4th birthday at Chuck E Cheese's. He had a lot of fun. His favorite thing was that he got enough tickets to get a huge lollipop. Elise was a little jealous. Good thing Dallin loves to share with his sister. He had lots of fun on his birthday.
Dallin loves birthday cakes and candles. He had been dreaming of this day all year long. He likes to make pretend cakes and have us sing happy birthday to him for fun. So we sang Happy Birthday to him. He wished that he could marry Eden and he had a great day. He also got to be the king for the day. He loved wearing his crown.

One day, Dallin had what he thought to be the greatest idea in the world. Instead of finger painting, he would do some "belly painting." Mom hesitantly agreed, and this is the first, and last, attempt at the art. You're only a kid once. I quickly raced him up to the bathtub as soon as he was finished. So hard to resist a picture.

I am putting my blog on hold until January 14, 2008 because we are in Utah visiting family. Happy New Year!!!!
