So we had a fun night a few nights before Christmas going on a hayride to see Christmas lights!! This is a tradition that my kids LOVE and look forward to each year. We sing carols and see pretty lights then head back to Sorensons for Hot Chocolate and stringing cranberries and popcorn for Aunt Natalie's tree!! We had a blast and are so thankful for FUN TRADITIONS and WONDERFUL FAMILY!!! Tate on the hayride...

Thanksgiving this year was once again WONDERFUL!! We were able to spend it at my parents house with lots of fun family!! I love Thanksgiving time...I love to reflect and think about how blessed we truly are. We do a Thankful count down in our house...each day we draw something out of our Thankful jar. Its something fun like I am thankful for my sister...do a service to show her... or I am thankful for my eyes..go outside and look at all the beautiful things we have to see. Anyway it is a fun way for my kids to remember their blessings!! We were truly blessed this year and we are so THANKFUL for the blessings in our home!! Cousin Kayla was here!! We love Kayla

We had a FABULOUS Thanksgiving and we hope you all did too!!

So Halloween in the Vance home was such a fun night!! I LOVE Halloween!!!! It is one of my FAVORITE holidays to decorate for..cook for and participate in! However, this year being pregnant, I was not as much fun as I usually am. We always do fun pizza and pumpkin carving night...usually I will make homemade fun pizzas in different Halloween shapes. This year...I BOUGHT ONE!! I know...totally lame but I DON'T CARE!! Ok...obviously I do care...but I got the whole families ok that this year my slacking was OK!! Even with my laziness...Halloween was a SPOOKTACULAR SUCCESS!!! Our store bought "Pumpkin" Pizza!!

On Halloween night we had a fabulous dinner at our house with some fun friends...The Organs and The Manwarings!! All the usuals were served...eyeball casserole...bone yard bread sticks...jello with spiders and mummy dogs!! We had a WONDERFUL time with our WONDERFUL friends...

After dinner it was on to the Trick-or Treating!! We had some darling costumes this year!! I love to see what each of my kids picks each year!! This year we had a Mad Hatter...a Beautiful Bride and a Terrific Transformer!!
