More Fun with the Moone Family

Two days before school started Katy and I decided to load up in her car and head to Seminole for a trip to the Children's Museum. It was so nice to all be in the same car together so that Katy and I actually got time to chat and the kids enjoyed watching Yo Gabba Gabba!
The first thing they did was head straight to the airplane. I wonder who made that call?
If you guessed the only guy in the group you would be right!!!

Meg enjoyed the airplanes too!
But our time in the dinosaur digging exhibit was short lived

Brody was kind enough to give everyone a ride
They all thought this was fun
And Kennedy pretended to be the news anchor and Brody the weatherman
Katy wrangled both of the little ones

Of course Meg and Finley loved the stairs most of all
And Kennedy really liked taking care of the babies

Finley loved the new exhibit. Especially the bridge. She hopped and hopped on that thing!
Brody loves any place he can paint his face. Meg liked it too!
*And then mine and Katy's cameras died at the same time. So sad! We didn't get to capture the rest of our visit. Oh well. It was a blast and we stayed way longer than we thought we would. I always wonder why my pictures of our outings aren't great and then I remember that all 4 of our kids are extremely active and we are doing good just to keep up without losing one of them!

End of Summer Fun....

To celebrate the beginning of a Brody's first year of school we had a fun weekend before the big day! Mimi came to town and we had a big time at Build a Bear Workshop and Incredible Pizza.
Brody had seen the Build a Bear advertisement on TV for some time and had ask to go. I couldn't even believe how much he loved it. He was so into it all and has played with his puppy, Carly, a lot! And Meg enjoyed it too. She got a cute bunny named Caroline!
Give Carly her first bath!

Meg loved carrying the big box and she loves receipts. Not sure why but they entertain her greatly!
Then Brody enjoyed games galore at Incredible Pizza and some bumper cars and go carts.
That Friday night we headed to Ft. Gibson with our friends, Jon and Stephanie, to spend the weekend at her parent's house. I have never done anything like this with our kids and I would be lying if I didn't say I was a little nervous. Jon and Stephanie don't have kids and so I wasn't sure what her parents would think about our rowdy crew. Well we ended up having a fabulous and relaxing time! We ate a ton of great food and her mom had a ton of toys for the kids to play with so they were so happy! And both kids think that her dad Steve is super cool. He one Brody over when he took him for a ride in his sweet hot rod (Brody's words....not mine) and he one Meg over with his hula hooping skills!
We even went swimming Saturday afternoon.
This pool was perfect! Such a peaceful setting with all of the trees!
Brody went to bed early Saturday night but Meg was ready to party. She provided a lot of entertainment with her fascination with rubberbands and a computer screensaver (thanks Patsy). We laughed and laughed at how silly she was!
And before heading out to church the kids found the hula hoops. It was so much fun. Probably what the kids enjoyed more than anything was the wood floors (they both loved running on them and laying on their bellys and sliding around) and those big windows. Meg sat there forever watching birds and squirrels. I am pretty sure a deep cleaning was in order after we left :)

Vacation with Friends

At the beginning of August we were so happy to join the Kovash Family, the Cunninghams, and the Pollocks for 4 nights of fun in New Braunfels! We found a terrific house to rent that would hold all of us (don't think that was easy) and it had a pool! We were so excited about spending so much time with everyone.....especially all of the kids! Meg and Brody were both very fond of Baby Channing. For the record, she is the absolute best baby ever. I think I heard her cry once the entire time we were there.
Hudson, Meg, and Cooper had a blast together! I know they will have so much fun growing up together!

One night we all ventured out to the Gristmill. We had eaten there a few years ago when the adults went to New Braunfels without the kids. It was just as yummy as I remembered it being. And it wasn't busy when we arrivd. Brody and Sterling even got to play at their own table (in their matching Toy Story t-shirts).
Hudson and Meg kept cool eating ice
The whole group after eating dinner!
Cooper and Meg enjoyed some TV time together. Meg eyed this Minnie Mouse about a month ago at the Disney Store and she was so happy I bought it for her at the outlet mall when us girls had a day of shopping fun while the guys watched the kiddos!
Sterling was so tired one night he couldn't make it past dinner!
Watching a movie while they babies were in bed and the adults were eating dinner!
Hudson and Cooper love watermelon!
And Cooper and Meg love Baby Channing's toys
The stairs provided more entertainment than anything else!
All of us (minus the Pollocks) ventured out to Schlitterbahn. We had a great time and it wore the kids out!
The daddies and their babies
Hudson, Cooper, and Meg chillin by the pool
Another day Whitney and I took our kids to the New Braunfels Children's Museum. The guys were floating the river so this was a perfect outing in between naps!

This was Megs favorite thing! An old radio that you could press a button and it would play a different song. I thought I would never get "She'll be coming round the mountain" out of my head!
The kids all loved the ambulance

And the grocery store
Sterling pretended to be Rob
And Hudson and Meg were determined to get these bottles out of the hole
The space ship was also a big hit with Sterling and Brody
Meg enjoyed painting but Sterling liked this more than anyone
We spent almost 4 hours at the Children's Museum and the kids could've stayed there even longer! It is worth a visit if you are in that area! Whitney and I have decided we need to open our own Children's Museum.....maybe if they move back to Oklahoma :)
Meg being sweet with Sterling
The kids enjoying their dinner! You can see the view of the pool and river!
Getting some playtime in with Channing
The last night we broke out some goodies I found at the Dollar Tree
Carolina and Channing
Goofy Boys
Whitney tried out the glasses. I think it is a good look.
The girls have to stick together with all of those rowdy boys!
Getting ready to head home!
Wish I knew what they were looking at
The guys and the kids!
