Brody Turns 6!!!

On September 19th our sweet little boy turned 6. He was so very excited about finally being 6 like his cousin Huston! And he picked an ice skating party because it is one of his very favorite things to do, especially with Cousin Shawn and his girlfriend Katelyn!

Lacing up the skates so he can hit the ice!

Meg decided she would finally give it a try too!

Uncle Steve was happy with his job of holding Austin

And Stephanie practiced on her baby holding skills with sweet little Georgia! Pretty sure she is going to be a pro!!!

I think Bryson's back hurt for days after helping all the kids skate. This is Kinley the little girl from church that Brody says he is going to marry!

Cooper waiting for Bryson to help him ice skate!

Steve decided to try out the skates too!

And so did Nana and Papa. It was nice that the party was fun for the adults and the kids!

He loved it!

Cooper got a little help from his dad and Brody felt like a pro with his new hockey gloves from Katelyn!

Brody and Cousin Hannah. Pretty sure she was freezing!

Katelyn got her workout that day as well!

Another friend of Brody's from church. Samantha and her dad John!

Brody is a lucky little boy to have so many friends help him celebrate his big day!

This was the first birthday that we didn't do a really cool cake, but he wanted a cookie cake and so that's what we did! It was so yummy!

He was very excited about this gift. He had his eye on it for months!

Cooper decided to pick on Jon a little bit and get him ready for being a dad!

I love this picture because of Meg and Cooper sharing the cheese balls. That is all they cared about!

Mandie and Case

Macy, Katelyn, and Hannah

Bruce, Bryson, and Elisse

Couldn't wait to break out some of the new toys

Meg was thrilled that Mrs. Diane and Bekah were there. She loves them both so much!

Gran B helped Meg get into the smore treat bags!

Kayton looks like she is having a serious conversation with these guys!

It was a wonderful party to celebrate my favorite little guy! Still can't believe that is 6. Each year he changes so much and each year brings new things that we enjoy doing together and more reasons why I love him so much!!!

Fall Soccer Season

Not long after school started Brody's fall soccer season also started. Brody is always excited about soccer starting and this season he was even more excited because his best friend, Cooper, was going to be on his team. This made practices so much more fun for us both because he had his buddy to play with, I had Cooper's mom Mandie to chit-chat with, and Meg had Coopers little brother, Case, to play with. Talk about a win-win!!!

They look pretty cute!!!
Meg also became friends with Ben's little sister, Alice! The three little kids loved playing soccer on the sidelines, climbing the chainlink fence, playing duck-duck goose and ring around the rosies, and chasing each other during practices and games! We all want them to be on a soccer team together one day!

Case is quite the ladies man!

I was happy my dad made it to a couple of games because it meant I got some awesome action pictures!

The kids after they received their medals!

Celebrating the end of the season with a pizza party!

This season Brody got even more aggresive hustling after the ball and trying to score. Toward the end of the season he decided he really liked to play defense. He stopped many of players from the opposing teams from scoring. And this made him very happy!

One of many attempts at a chest bump!

My current favorite picture of my little man! Love that it shows all the colors in his hair!

When Meg wasn't running around with her friends she also got loved on by Grand B

And she is also really fond of Coopers dad!

We also learned this season that Brody does not like to lose, does not like to sit out while his other teammates play, and does not like when the other team scores. He is a little competitor!

They loved finishing off the games running through the tunnel!

Pep talk from the Coach

It was a great season and we can't wait until next year!
