Disney World Day Two

So after a fun night at Epcot I was woke up by Brody jumping out of bed and over the suitcases that I never unpacked to make it to the toilet to throw up.  One look at him and I knew he was sick.  Then I felt his head and knew immediately that he had the flu.  He's had it before and that's just what the flu does to him.  Thankfully I had brought along his leftover tamiflu from the previous year so I immediately gave him a dose of that and tylenol.  For the first time in maybe my whole life I actually didn't let this bump in the road ruin our whole trip.  I am actually still a bit shocked that I didn't flip out seeing as the last time we were all at Disney World together I flipped smooth out over a lost earring that I had actually just never put in that day.  Amazing how God can work on us over time!

That morning Bryson stayed in the hotel with Brody while the rest of us headed to the Magic Kingdom.  They ordered room service and watched a lot of TV.  Dr. Rob was so nice to call Bryson and I in a prescription for tamiflu and a local pharmacy delivered it to us.  Although I didn't flip out when Brody got sick I probably would've if anyone else had got sick!
Our first stop was the Crystal Palace for breakfast.

I loved seeing Georgia with the characters.  So precious!

If only I would've got a picture with our waitress and Rob.  She realized he was a doctor and kept calling him Dr. Cunningham in a real playful/seductive way and I seriously still laugh remembering the moment.

After breakfast we headed out to enjoy the park.  Even though we had a nice time it just didn't feel right without Bryson and Brody with us!

Alice is always one of the best character to meet!

I especially loved when she shooed off some foreign tourists who were trying to take pictures of Georgia and Meg!  Haha!
It was like we were sister wives or something with Bryson not with us.  It just wasn't right!  Ha!

Then we road Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Meg had been waiting and waiting to ride it!

It did not disappoint!
My favorite thing about the photo pass this trip was that it included ride pictures! They were hilarious!
My hair says it all!

I'm not sure Georgia really wanted to give it two thumbs up!

I'm not sure there is anything better than getting to be at Disney World with one of your best friends!

The kids got picked for roles in Tales with Belle!  Meg made a great Maurice!
Cooper was the perfect Beast!

Around this time we got a picture and a text from Bryson saying that Brody was ready to head to the park.  I was a little worried but we decided to let him come try it for a little bit!  Don't judge our parenting :)
Yeah not really looking normal but feeling pretty good.  I think getting that tamiflu in him as soon as he got sick made a huge difference!
They went straight to use our fast pass on Space Mountain
Meg loved her first time!

This girlie and I chose to ride around the People Mover instead!  She thought it was awesome!

Then we headed to the Pirate/Mermaid Makeover Experience!

Afterwards they have the kids go into a "secret room" and a Photo Pass photographer takes pictures.  We had the strangest photographer ever who had the kids in the most awkward poses.  I think Carolina and I laughed the entire time.
AWKWARD

Georgia kills me in ever single one

If you ever doubted how awesome the Cunninghams are they never blinked an eye at my sick kiddo in such close proximity to their kiddos!

And to cap off a very interesting day Meg picked out the strangest Disney hat available.  Bryson tried everything he could to talk her out of it!  I thought it was awesome!  I think we were back to our room by about 6:00 p.m. and asleep by 8:00 p.m.  Now that never happens at Disney World!

Disney World Day One

So around October of last year I started tossing around the idea of going back to Disney World at the beginning of 2015.  There was a decent chance that I was going to have surgery to remove my tumor in February if the MRI I was going to have in December showed any growth and I really wanted to do something fun before that!  I know I know......it was a really good excuse to go on a fun family vacation.  It worked and I convinced Bryson to take us back to Disney World.  Then I convinced the Cunninghams to come with us!  We had a blast planning it and then surprising the kids on Christmas morning.  After a month of counting down it was finally time!  We were all giddy with excitement!
The Cunninghams flew out of Dallas and we met up with them in Houston!

Our excited faces!  I was a much more experienced flyer this time around so I actually sat with the kids rather than having to sit with Rob :)

Very excited boys!

The tram in the airport are always the perfect "surfing" spot!

Meg couldn't wait for Georgia to see Disney World for the first time ever!
Headed to the resort!

As long as we let them travel together I think we can drag them anywhere!

We stayed at the Polynesian this time and loved it!  The kids received their leis when we arrived!

Hula girl pose

All ready to head to their rooms!
We got freshened up and headed to the monorail so we could go to Epcot for the night!  It was at this moment that we realized we were missing a kid.  Georgia was lost for all of about 10 seconds!  But it was enough to make us decide that the kids were responsible for making sure she was always with them!
A little love from Rob made it all better!

That night we headed to Epcot!  And somehow we managed to get an awesome picture of everyone!

We weren't sure how Georgia would do with the characters but she did great!
We rode a few rides and met a few characters!

Our husbands are dorks

Such a cute picture of Georgia and Carolina walking around the world!
The ride they had all been waiting on!

Everyone designed their own vehicle!

Then right as we were about to enter into the line to get on the ride the ride shut down!  Bummer but the kids recovered!

While we were waiting for our 8:20 dinner reservations at Teppon Edo Brody started acting so whiney!  He was complaining about everything which was very weird since it was his first night at Disney World!  Everyone perked up after we saw the fireworks!

And after we ate our hibachi!

Dinner that night may have been my favorite that I've had at Disney World!

Heading back to the monorail!

Something about that pole on the monorail made Meg start twirling and dancing.  Our first day was fun and we were all excited about the next day!
